The Grand Slam is definitely on by the sounds of it![/b]
Quite possibly. The next game against Scotland is huge. They thoroughly outplayed Wales in the opening game of the competition and aren't a bad side at all.

not a great performance though last night by the sounds of it, only winning by 4 points and led for a long time only getting the try late on. Still should be a good one with the Scots in contention for the triple crown

Yeah well things looking good, keep an eye on our 13- Ash McCulloch. I play with him at grammar, he's been training with edinburgh this week and was playing 7s for Scotland earlier in the year, he's a quality player. Hopefully he can create something special - he usually makes me look like a *** in training.

Ireland Under-20 coach Allen Clarke has retained the same starting side for the first time in the 2009 Championship, but has made two changes to the replacements bench.

Prop Adam Macklin comes into the matchday 22 in place of Jack O’Connell.

In addition, out-half Andrew Burke, who started the first game of the Championship against France, has returned from injury and been added to the bench in place of Gary Foley.

Coach Clarke said: "The win against England was a reflection of the strength of the squad's character and resolve.

"However, there were particular aspects of our game we were not content with and these have received special attention this week.

"Scotland has shown they are a team to be reckoned with and respected, particularly at home.

"We are aware of the competitive challenge ahead and the levels of performance required. Our aim is clear - to keep progressing and improving as individuals and ultimately as a team."

nothing on the RTÉ site about it, the Scotland Wales match was televised so not sure why this one wouldn't be

good lord what was the French tighthead playing at there, just standing around the ruck like a spare part could have easily recycled it himself.

can't get anything on the Ireland match, not even a score update on aertel on rte.ie

nice line from the French winger there but does look to be held up unless he was able to touch the base of the post.

In more important news, Wales are leading Italy 14 - 9 at HT (second half kicking off.... NOW!) and the referee is generally awful.

try given after the second time, thought the ref could have got himself in a better position but eventually they found the right camera angle.

Good start for the French finding plenty of holes in the English defence.

7-0 to France

they normally are at this level but they've got to learn somewhere.

Clegg gets England on the scoreboard with a penalty after the French go offside.

Hm, Wales seemed to pull away immediately with an early try but Italy have struck back with a superb line from their flyhalf to put his winger into the corner for their first try.
21 - 14.

Speedy have they given any updates on the score from the Scotland Ireland match?

England cut the gap to one with their second penalty after the French break early off the scrum.

Nope. They have sod all on the BBC website aswell.
Though I need to blurt it out because it's given me heaploads of joy BRISTOL 14 - 7 LEICESTER YAYAYAYAYAYA.
