TRF's 2014 FIFA World Cup

Costa Rica has to win the Oscar though so far for me...haven't seen this much acting since the start. They're beautifully graceful as they do it, it's quite moving.
 
I dunno, the Greeks have been just as bad if not worse! That red card was an awful decision that came from a diving Greek player. Literally only still in this WC due to dodgy referee decisions...
 
I have a bad feeling for France...but I find the 3-1 reasonable. I just have a feeling France will underestimate Nigeria. And Nigeria have literally nothing to lose, they're happy to even be here, and have a big potential dormant in them. A good start for Nigeria, and France will be trailing the whole way. Just never know with sports, but Nigeria can DEFINITELY win this and it wouldn't be that a huge an upset. At all. Apparently these guys just won the latest African Cup, wtvr that's worth...

and lol yeah I think (and HOPE !!) Germany will really show their mettle and crushhhhh them.

don't get excited too much there ! The favorites right now still have to be Germany and Holland, and to some extent a dark horse in France. Argentina haven't convinced at all, and Brazil have been erratic and not exactly frightening, to be nice.
 
Yeah glad Costa Rica won, Greece style of play was atrocious, and I was sick of their luck and calls going their way. Costa Rica are in deep trouble versus the Dutch.

Sorry but the favorite for far and who is playing the best football in the tournament is Colombia. If Argentina fails, my heart will be with the cafeteros. James(literally Ha-mes) Rodriguez is a beast right now.

Gotta agree with Alex here, Colombia playing the best football so far. However, bar a under performing Suarez-less Uruguay, still haven't seen them up against one of the truly big guns. I reckon they can take the Brazilians who are a bit all over the place at the moment, but not so sure how much further they'll go if they make the semis. If they win their respective last 16 games (which they tbf they should), they'll face the winner of a likely France vs Germany 1/4 final, who might have a bit too much for them.
However, if they keep playing the way they do, who knows, could see a very unexpected World Cup winner!
 
Costa Rica in QF. Anyone fancy them against Dutch (who have a tendency to bottle it at times). Robbed might be ok after his diving and RVP was **** today too. But a team like CRC have the pace and physicality to do it. Ha and I seen them play Ireland in USA before it and they were useless. I'd have predicted they'd do well to stay competitive in games. What a turn around
