I am disgusted that I am not in that :(

I make the TRF Meetups!!![/b]

Sorry man! Theres only so much space.

I'll see if I can fit you in somewhere.

You can put him in my coat pocket!!

Still no answer to the 'why bruges' question!!

Why go anywhere but fair britain, honestly, all this great weather, hot chicks and cheap beer and you guys want to travel to the continent, while spreading the carbon footprint until it's more a carbon brake mark than a foot print....

HAve it in my back yard, brin your own meat, charcoal and whiskey, bring some rugby balls and sleeping bags. Do it before January and you might all make it without frostbite

Hi guys, this is a Belgian opinion

Brussels: Easy to reach, a lot of beers, bars, pubs, clubs etc... reasonable
Antwerp: Nice city, also nice beers etc...
Liége: The french part of Belgium: Most people aren't that keen on speaking English but nice place.
Brugge: Very tourist place, expensive for beers ( 4â'¬ for 25 cl at the market)

I would recommand Brussels as it is easy to reach, decent price, etc...

Does Eurostar go directly to Antwerp?[/b]

Nope the only station where the Eurostar stops in Belgium is Brussels, so Brussels is by far the better option. Unless you want to take the 30 minute train ride to Antwerp. I think it's worth it, but I'm biased.
Purely for logistical reasons I'd suggest Brussels.

Going to Bruges simply because there was a film on it is a BAD reason!

Well it remains an option. The Belgian option appears to be the favourite at the moment.

JA, man bring your poster too, did I mention I've got several rugby pitches in my back yard? If we can get enough TRFers together we can have a tourny

Everyone appears to want to go to Brussels though...and Matt wants to go to Krakow..on his own..

I'll meet the london voters in the that sports pub where we watched the Bokke win the World cup in 2007. I''d like to see if my hostess still works there. <_<

I do not wish to be the popper of dreams, gentlemen but I think London may be the most realistic for myself, at least until the new year anyway. We could do Brussels in the New Year when everyone has a sounder financial footing and do a London meet up in the next few months?
