Well looking at their back three, Piautau is leaving, Bowe is retiring, Payne looks likely to be too and Trimble seems to be a spent force.

That leaves Stockdale, Gilroy, Ludik and Lyttle so there's not a lot of depth there by my reckoning. There are better players they could go after, but it's not a crazy signing.
