Transfers rumours

That's a fairly safe bet, I'd imagine.

Good riddance, IMO... come on down Nathan Earle.

He's playing well for Canterbury. I wonder if he will garner interest from other Prem clubs; Wasps, Exeter, Bath, Northampton would probably be interested. Madness that Mike 'can't finish a snicker bar' Ellery is higher in the Sarries depth chart.

Bath may well be, given our new coach. Though we've already strengthened on the wing, it's IC we really need more depth for.
Of course, he may very well be a step up from the likes of Aled Brew or Harry Davies we've recruited for this year.

Toulouse are unlikely to prolong the contracts of Luke McAlister and Toby Flood after this season, as these two are apparently being blamed for the clubs poor form this season, although I believe that coaches Jean-Baptiste Elissalde (backs) and William Servat (forwards), great players that they were, should be held responsible.
McAlister may go to Japan to top up his pension fund, but Toby Flood? He surely has two or three seasons left in him - but where will he go?

Pundit Arena are reporting that Munster are in a three way bidding war with Sarries and Connacht to sign Chris Farrell from Grenoble. I would love to have him. He's a big unit who suits our style quite well and would be a perfect compliment for Scannell. If he has any Irish ambitions it will be Connacht or Munster. Saili won't be back until the new year, and won't get a new contract anyway so he would walk into the Munster team. Connacht have Griffin and Robb who I'll admit aren't the most solid options.

And as Grenoble are favourites to be relegated from the Top14, a move for Farrell seems more likely.

He is making a name for himself in the TOP 14, whether he wants to stay in France or not, i think it will not be long before he's off, just depends on his contract with Grenoble, who i really can't see surviving this season.

Aaron Cruden --> Quins or Wuss.

Wants £750k a year apparently... I'm still unsure as to the accuracy of the reported salaries of elite players, but that's what the rags are saying fwiw.

I would be surprised at that before the next World Cup, but he would be a great addition to any team.

I wouldn't blame him for leaving NZ TBH. Barrett is far ahead of him as it is and with Sopoaga on his heels as well as the rise of McKenzie you can see why he may not be too keen on staying in NZ for an All Blacks spot he may not have, especially with the money he's supposedly being offered.

Don't think Cruden will be going anywhere until after the next World Cup, if not longer...

Do Quins have a lot of money?
With their desperate need for a 10 when evans retires, and a marquee spot, they could hand him a blank cheque.

Hi dudes! We have some noises here in Basque Country that Mat' Tait is going do sign for Bayonne (again), anything on your side of the Channel?
