Transfers rumours

Hadn't heard these two. I presume Botha has played his last game for Munster. Reid will be a good player for someone. He's a superb attacker but needs work on the other areas of his game.

Yea BJ is 99% done playing with us. It was always going to be the case he was being released as a player. Was talk of being a scrum coach but Fla was brought in and my understanding at moment is he is only coach that may be retained with Axel. But BJ will do well to get back playing at a top level after that but he's a true pro and if the Exeter deal goes through I'm sure he will be good business for them for 20 mins a game or so.

Reid was 1 ye probably know his pros/cons a lot better than me but I'm presuming he'd never be more than a very good backup for ye. I think ye have plenty of talent coming through there.

Kind of yes, kind of no.

When Thrush and Latta hadn't arrived, Hudson was injured and Galarza banned, we played Kalamafoni in the second row before considering Stooke for first team action. It isn't a case of not finding the game time for him, it's a case of him simply not being good enough at the minute. He's gone backwards since he first broke out. He's also looked a little out of shape. It's a bit of a disappointment tbh.

That said, he's got a fair amount of potential, and it would be disappointing if he went to Bath of all places. It's been said he has been offered a contract by Glos, so it seems the coaches do have plans for him. But it wouldn't be particularly bad if he were to leave either. Although Bath of all destinations...

Not surprised, by the sounds of it Moore never wanted to leave and was basically in the same situation where he was just being lowballed he wouldn't have minded either if they'd just give him the three year instead of two contract. Which is a bit weird as Moore was someone who continually signed one year contracts presumably backing himself to be in a better bargaining position the next year.

There were rumours that Nucifora was on holiday and negotiations has stalled because of it, don't know if there's any truth behind that though.

Exeter signing Pro12 second row and 'overseas' back to join the squad asap. will be announced this week but any ideas who is out of contract/could be eligible?

Edit: as far as I can see, the only Pro12 locks out of contract are Mike McCarthy, Ben Toolis and Grant Gilchrist. Unless there are any Italians that could have caught Rob Baxters eye?

Sounds like Cipriani is off to Quins next season.
There's been a guy on the Quins fans forum saying it for a few days but no one believed him, but a few "in the know" Sale fans have started saying the same.
He's got a get out clause in his contract which he initially didn't take, but looks like the EPS snub has changed his mind.

Makes sense all round! Evans is getting passed it, Botica is not up to taking over, Cios gets back to London and higher rates club to enhance his prospects.

HUGE loss for Sale but,as Olyy says, they will have a problem keeping a lot of their youngsters too!!

Cipriani, Taylor, Addison this year,
Beaumont, Haley and Harrison all out of contract next

Might as well shut up shop
