Transfers rumours

Kind of disappointed with Saracens lack of signings but I guess it's brilliant for the academy boys. Can any Stormers fans give me the low down on Michael Rhodes?

That would be awesome! Such a great player with the ability to play in Bath's style.

Vunisa/Rhodes/Noakes/Young Exeter flanker
I think we've done brilliant business, we've sorted out the issue of carrying in the pack and got in another 10. The rest of the squad is very decent. As you say academy guys are coming through, we've got one of the best academies in England I would say now.

Munster are in talks with 3 international backrowers. 2 are still currently at RWC. All 3 are targets to come in for a short term (end of season) deal. It may be a sabatical from SH or wherever. Very preliminary stages with talks ongoing with IRFU for approval happening too. This is due to P. O'Mahony being out as well as O'Donnell and being very thin in terms of numbers. Funding approval is discussed to. We've an outsider willing to fund if approved. Just to clarify we'd only be signing 1 not all 3.

Haha after my gloom in the Munster thread this has me smiling! Great to hear :) Any ideas of who they are, or are you not at liberty to say? I'm guessing Leonardo Senatore, Jerome Kaino might be available based on a quick snoop around

I haven't much inside info but admittedly Kaino is 1 name I've heard.

That would be amazing. An openside would be ideal really, but guys like Jack O'Donoghue could pick up a huge amount from someone with Kaino's experience.

The problem is Jack isn't a 7. We've no balance in that backrow currently.

Weird, he said during the world cup he was only interested in moving to the aviva premiership.

Will be a top signing for whoever he ends up with, though.

He never said that. He said he preferred the Premiership/Top 14 as it suited him more, not that he would only move there. Maybe nobody made an offer from Europe.

Rumours Leonardo Senatore will also sign as a medical joker for three months before the SR season.

So Burgess could be heading back to league, and all the development and fast-tracking will have been for nowt.

People talked about getting him into the England set-up asap so he can learn faster. The other side of the coin is that so much expectation has been placed on him because of his fast-tracking, that when it goes wrong, it leaves a not so pleasant environment for him. If the expectation is partly to blame for driving him out of union, then fast-tracking can be considered a bit of a failure.

Rubbishy IMO, Hayne is not exactly wonderful ATM. I just can't see a 21 year old Winger who is now a stable fixture in his countries 23 leaving.

Laidlaw @ RB Lolololololololololololo

Hahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahaha

I would pay to watch that.

Savea could well be interested though at that age.

Don't doubt that Osi is dead serious about it though, it's a near certainty that they will try and sign any local sportsperson they think could do a job (no matter how small) if/when there is a local/shared franchise.

Don't doubt that NFL are desperate for a worldwide market.

Hayne has shown the power of a local sport star.

I don't see Watson as an NFL player, Savea yes, Manu maybe Watson no.

I think Watson could make a tremendous defensive corner . He's very much in the Sherman mould but taller
