Transfers rumours

I'd like Priestland for my club, yep - that's not to say I think of him as a world class player as Jeremy Guscott seems to.
If this season is anything to go by than Andy Goode could be declining rapidly, whislt Joe carlisle has never looked the part and looks as if he'll go his whole career being a player who 'has potential'. He's only really starred in amlin games against mediocre/poor opposition. Baby Bell looks set to be preferred as a full-back if he stays at all - and the rumous are that he's not staying.

Priestland has his frailities but I think he can run a back-line of a certain type - I think players like Daly and Wade can bring the ebst out of him. In fact providing the price tag isnt' too high, I'm not sure why any prem club woudl turn him down, be it as a 1st or second choice?

Agree about Gaskell - I don't want him but apparently Dai is interested. Our back-row is the best thing about us atm - seems a bit silly. I'd rather sign a genuinely quality inside centre.

I'd say that Priestland really has got world class in him. He's had injuries and spells of bad form, but he's the kind of player Wasps should be looking to play if they really want to make the most of their outside back. Goode, god bless him, is a stalwart but he's hardly oozing X-factor.

Flood's gone out to deny the Toulous transfer. He says he's not going to decide until January so it seems like everything is speculation for a couple more weeks.

Flood said: "I just saw these rumors ..............................I take my decision in January. Thank you. "

Heathcote To wasps could be quite a nice fit, priestland Now seems to be on his way to Leicester and not sure what's happening with Freddie but could this means that he could move to somewhere who need a skillful fly half and have a great pack. Northampton Maybe?

Toulouse head of recruitment confirm Flood has signed with them but he does not have the permission of the player to say that!!!

Toulon have also confirmed they wanted to sign him but he has signed for ST!! Come on Toby come clean!!!!

Very, very unreliable and left-field rumour of Johan Goosen to Gloucester.

Sean O Brien and Jamie Heaslip - Leinster ---> Toulon

Please no, but I can see it as Bruni leaving, Rousouw retiring and Lobbe out of contract. But please God no

Gotta love shed-web!! :p

...Although I just checked Joosen's twitter and he appears to be a horse person!
Cheltenham could be a draw for him!?

According to today's L'Equipe James O'Connor signing up with Toulon for the next season replacing Wilkinson

oops - my bad - just realized that this has already been confirmed in another thread

Teddy Thomas - Biarritz ---> Leicester
Casey Laulala - Munster ---> Racing Metro
Stephen Moore and Ben Alexander - Brumbies ---> Grenoble

Jonathan Wisniewski - Racing Metro ---> Gloucester. He has also been linked with Leicester so I guess it depends on if burns moves to Leicester

Also Ben Mowen - Brumbies ---> Toulon

Summary for the last few pages:

Wales 23 -----> Out of Wales.

Scott Williams is a fine player, though, and would be a good signing for Wasps. They've got some decent centres (Masi, Daly) but also have some not-upto-standard ones in their squad.

So Priestland, Bradley Davies, and Scott Willians could all be Wasps-bound?
Scott was always linked to Blues, wonder if Young is a fan.

If Welsh players go toa England that's fine, but please only spread amongst a few clubs.

Priestland's also been linked with Glaws now.
Will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Burns COULD be a very very good signing for Tigers, if he performs well behind their pack. All signs point to yes, but this season puts a tiny bit of doubt in the mind. I mean, he's behind a poor pack, and uncertain of his future, but this hasn't stopped players in the past....
If he's flaky for Tigers then they're left with a flaky Burns and a flaky Lamb...not exactly Tigers' mentality there - they love to go back to 10man rugby (which, traditionally, they excel at) if things go to pot.

Priestland, obviously, does have question marks over his international ability, but I'd back him to be more consistent at club level.
