Transfers 2015/16

Could we just maybe set up an automated *****y response anytime anyone has the gall to mention French rugby just to save this guy doing it. Honestly it's a harmless and interesting transfer stat in a transfer thread.
I really don't get that reaction, French rugby sites are full of French rugby fans complaining about their clubs signing too many foreigners...

No problem. Do mention French rugby as much as you want. Nobody is stopping you. It's just the same tune over and over.

And I'm just commenting on the stat itself saying it amounts to 2 players per club.

Faletau to Cardiff Blues?

Where have you heard that one?
Can't see that at all... as much as I want it, almost certainly a pipedream :p possibly have the money wages wise (since we couldn't get Roberts) but certainly not the dosh to buy him out of his Dragons contract.

Either way, can't compete with the resources Bath have, nor the same sort of desirable rugby environment...

Wales Online. Peter Thomas is after him though i would be surprised if he came to the Blues. Wages wise it would be a dual contract and i do think Peter Thomas does have the money to buy out his contract (another loan!) just would the Dragons sell him to the Blues and would he want to play for the Blues. Would be a statement if we did sign him.

Maybe mike Williams made a bad decision going to Leicester, he is a truly great player but he's going to find it difficult to gain game time, unless he gets played in the back row

Doubt it with croft injured he is likely our first choice 6. From what I gather he will be a 6 who can play lock for us.

Yeah, that's a massive shame.
Made a huge impact to the Tigers backs whenever he played, will be missed (even though he's been out injured so often in previous seasons).

Anthony Allen has been forced to announce his retirement today due to a knee injury.

This is very sad news. I thought he was playing some great rugby this season before his latest injury.

Let's hope the future is finder to him than the past has been.

Great for everyone involved. Etzebeth has had an injury recently so low stress, big earning season in Japan. Pollard and Folau will also stay with there unions longer as the call of money won't be an issue.

Paul Deacon has joined Sale Sharks, from Wigan Warriors, as attack/skills coach.

This has the potential to be an excellent bit of business - very highly regarded in League, and more than a few wanted him to have the head role at WW.

Links up with his ex-teammate Mike Forshaw, our defence coach. Very northern/League inspired backroom set up
