Transfers 2015/16

Why would you switch codes, sign for a 2nd division team that looks unlikely to secure promotion, at the age of 34?

I know it's living in the same city but still it doesn't make much sense.

no idea... he's a classy player, but what's the point of switching now?

Especially if the Premiership becomes ring fenced...

Maybe he just wants a crack at Union?
Had a long, and successful, League career, maybe he fancies a different challenge, and Carnegie made him a good offer?
At his age/stage he might not be too bothered about playing at the highest level.

I for one welcome our new back up 10 for the RWC.

League player from Leeds Lancaster must be wetting himself with joy.

I think more League players who want to make the switch should start in the Championship anyway.

He is a big name in leeds and will draw a crowd in.

Staying in the same area and more money prob the biggest draw,

Precursor to RU coaching I would imagine.

The Leeds RL/RU set-ups have been incredibly close with each other for a number of years.

Not sure anyone mentioned it yet.

Mike Blair (Newcastle Falcons) -----> Glasgow Warriors

another poor signing for Glasgow despite them selling Matawalu, Maitland and Van Der Merwe.....

Tom Price (Leicester) ---> Scarlets

On a side note, post links to confirmed deals lads. Lets not be lazy please.

Eng U20 player, Leicester academy graduate.

Welsh Qualified, has bulked a fair amount over the last year, suffered a major injury a bit ago.

Good potential but will struggle behind the current Leicester and English locks, Wales lacking IMO with young locks good move on his part IMO.

The ARU really need to pull their head's out of the sand now.

Cooper, Beale and Folau will probably be next

I don't believe you,
For the past two years all we've heard is that Genia is guaranteed to go to Bath after the World Cup.

Seriously?

Its a very shrewd signing. Maybe not the fireworks of the others but he is still a classy player, Falcons fans on a whole have said we're disappointed to lose him. He will prove a great signing and he will have big input in the coaching as well.....

Well he's better than Laidlaw...

Well, he is a good player dont get me wrong. But its poor for Glasgow because they have sold 3 off they're best players and losing they're captain and is Mike Blair really the guy the want for a good replacement for Matawalu ?

Hell of a signing if he can be more consistent.
Yeah he seems to have a pretty well rounded game from his highlights, which can obviously be pretty decieving. How's his penis?
