Transfers 2015/16

Ed Griffiths (Sarries' Chief WUM) is leaving them at the end of the season... let's all keep our fingers crossed that he's leaving the game.

I said this was a good signing for Tah's and got into a bizarre conversation with Ben Darwin who pretty much said it wasn't (guessing they didn't use his company to broker the deal).

Ugo Monye to retire at the end of the season, but stay on at Quins in an as yet unspecified capacity.

Thanks Ugo!

Nasi Manu
Canterbury/Highlanders ------> Edinburgh

Brilliant signing for Edinburgh but i don't know why we keep buying players who play in the backrow when we have so much but is a good player. While for Glasgow another poor signing as they are selling they're best players, But Kieran Low is a good player but Glasgow can seriously do better.

Low is alright but has been struggling recently and isn't sure where is best position is. Also explains the Trayfoot signing.

Hugh Blake
Edinburgh -----> Glasgow (loan to end of season)
No link but on sky sports news ticker

Blaine Scully
Leicester Tigers --------> Cardiff Blues

Rumoured a little while ago, so no huge surprise. However, I am concerned this means one/both of the Cardiff Argentinian internationals have been lured away to the new super Rugby franchise. They have been a glimmer of light in what has turned out to be a difficult season.

Nasi Manu - To Edinburgh from Highlanders

Edinburgh Rugby
announce the signing of back row Nasi Manu, on a two-year-contract, expected to be effective from the end of the current Super XV season (summer 2015).

After making a fast-track debut for the Crusaders in 2008, where he held the distinction of playing first-class rugby before even playing club rugby, Manu moved to the Highlanders in 2010, where he is in his second year of co-captaining the side.
A keen Canterbury man, Manu has played Provincial level for Canterbury since 2007 â€" with whom he has won six ***les â€" making a try-scoring debut against Counties Manukau.
