Transfers 2014/15

They are? I guess the younger one is too good at tackling to be related to Joel, should have figured.

Apparently it's a huge contract. Now the Bulls are stuck with Flip, FML!

Samoan Loose head Aniseko Sio -------> Leicester
Rizzo ----------> Leicester

All confirmed.

If Sio becomes like Mulipola I will certainly be happy.

Rumors that the Reds have already signed a secret contract with JOC and the possible return of Digby Ioane from France.

Digby Ioane ---> Reds
James O'Connor ---> Reds

Ian Evans --> Bristol

Koree Britton --> London Welsh

No loss for the Scarlets. I liked Ianto, but he just can't stop being and idiot. Earle and Snyman are available all year, and add Ball during internationals.

Might have missed it, but Chris Hala'ufia and Rory Pitman have signed with the Scarlets.

@Conrad, this thread is for confined transfers only.

yeah he didn't really work out in Paris...some do, some don't. You can't always blend into a foreign environment...
Also...I've the munchies, but I don't want fkn yogurt...

Tim Molenaar to London Welsh having been dumped by Quins.

Still fuming that A) we let him go and B) those who left this year were so poorly treated by the management. I have no doubt he'll be a really asset for Welsh (as Sam Smith will be at Wuss and Guest at Irish) IMO one of the first really good signings they've made.

I had higher hopes for Phil. He looked solid in his first few appearances, but has looked limited.

Who has been badly treated?

When Molenaar, Guest, Smith, Mo and Sackey 'officially' left at the end of the season the club put out a very short statement that literally stated they had gone and offered no thanks or good wishes to any of them.

Personally, and I am by no means the only Quins fan who feels this way, I was pretty disappointed by what appeared to be a real lack of courtesy from the management. Maybe that sounds old fashioned but seeing as some of those guys played a big part in our Premiership win or, in Molenaar's case, basically saved our season this year, a word of thanks wouldn't have been too much to ask for.

but is he good ? i never heard off him, serious question

He has some good points. He is a creative 12 (who can cover 10), with a good passing game, and a long kicking game.

That's where the positives end though. He is a liability on defense (his biggest flaw in my opinion), kicks the ball away every chance he gets, and offers little with ball in hand so defenders simply drift off him.

He is fine at lower levels (ITM Cup) but I've never been convinced about him at Super Rugby level. I'm sure he will discover a long lost grandparent the moment he lands in Scotland and promptly be promoted into the national side ;)
