Transfers 2014/15

Both predicted though. Hudsons being good of late.

Jack Lam ---------> Bristol
Nick Koster --------> Bristol

Jak lam is a great signing and unexpected.

and Ryan jones and that a heavy weight back row.

Ulster missed boat there. O'Connell or McGrath were always going to go. Only room for 1 behind Healy and both are talented. Personally I think O'Connell will be better but Leinster have lost 2 fine players as Hudson is a good player too.

Bristol are going to have some squad next year

Hudson was, O'Connell wasn't.

Him to Ulster and Farrell to Leinster would have made more sense imo.

Not sure it would tbh. O'Connell would still have been behind Black (at least), Farrell behind D'Arcy (at least)... both players need a better chance of playing week in, week out and a season of doing so before going for a starting spot at one of the big three.

They will have the squad but will they win the play offs and get promoted?

@Peat. I think he'd overtake all them. He's a super prospect and I said it months ago if he was in Ireland and playing regularly he could've had shot at RWC.

@Living. Hope they do go up because if not they'll breez through Championship next year which is no good for anyone

This is a worry for me. I'm excited about the team we will be able to put out next year but for most of these players the big selling point apart from it being Bristol RFC, was getting them to believe in the vision and speed of getting promoted.

In terms of if that happens I'm confident, we're playing good rugby, especially at the Mem but we're winning and getting BP's away too. I can't get to games as much as I'd like but there does seem to be a very different attitude at the club this season. One of direction and focus and confidence that hasn't been there in previous years.

Trevor Woodman replaces Tony Windo as Gloucester's scrum coach with immediate effect.

Scott Cowan (scrum half, former Highlanders, Southland and Viadana player) signed to Krasny Yar (russian champ)

Stop-gap until we get Genia. :cool:

Great player, and will be invaluable as both a mentor/leader and as a player.

Harry Robinson, Cardiff Blues -> Scarlets.
Manoa Vosawai, Benetton Treviso -> Cardiff Blues.

Interesting move for Harry Robinson.

Also Danny Wilson, the current Scarlets forwards coach, is leaving to join Bristol. Shame, he seems to have made a huge impact to the Scarlets forwards in a short time frame.
