Transfers 2011/12

Apparently he's signing another extension at Sale, sooooo you knowww......

Just had a kid as well, doubt he's going to up sticks so soon afterwards

Isn't "Peel's leaving Sale" a symptom of Welsh touretttes, similar to Mungos shouting "Forward" for no reason whatsoever?

i have removed joe bedford and jamie smith from the scarlets in's

You should unbold both Wihongi and Koyamaibole as they're both just rumours, nothing confirmed

Wouldn't be surprised to see Karena stick at Sale next season - he does still have a year left, and I reckon he'll stick through it

Sean Cox has been released by Sale Sharks
Sisa Koyamaibole also confirmed to have played his last Sale home game today, so that "strong rumour" is no longer a rumour :p

who was right then?

Pipe down, the deals were not confirmed at the time.
Remember you had everything confirmed as true in your opening post ... how times have changed.
Deal aint done until the club confirms it.

Not the point, you claim they're done deals before they are.
Doesn't matter if you know 100% it's true, until it's released by official sources it's not a confirmed transfer...

why if you know 100% it is a confirmed transfer, it's not a confirmed transfer

how many people said Cristiano Ronaldo had signed for Real Madrid before it was official, or Torres at Chelsea, or for rugby James Hook to Perpignan

Unless it's been said by the club, it's not confirmed.

are you counting youngsters? If so Harry Leonard, George Turner and Matthew Scott have all been signed on Elite Development Contracts for Edinburgh and it's probably the only signings we'll make

Think Thomas will continue with the #3 shirt, he's very highly thought of
Vernon will bench, I think - though it'll be close between him and Seymour, would be happy to see either start and it'll be nice to actually have to players who can play 7, though Seymour was being tipped for captaincy before re-injuring his shoulder so think they'll go with him

Gaskells not had a good season - He's getting worse the longer he plays at 6 so I think he'll be overtaken by someone else (Myall has looked good in a poor Leeds side) - If he moves back to lock he could get better, he's definitely better there than the backrow. If he is our starting 6 then it'll be through reputation rather than merit - should be on the bench as either backrow or lock cover

Agree about Tuitopou, it's just a shame he doesn't play 13 as Tonetti is best used at 12

It's hard to guess a team with the amount of players coming into the squad though

McKenzie is a better 6 IMO
I've heard that before as well, which is disappointing
We'll have one actual lock with the rest being locks/blindside flankers (McKenzie, Gaskell, Myall) - shame
