USA Women lost to Australia, a team they beat earlier in the Olympics. They finish in 6th place, the same as the USA Men did. A disappointing games for both USA rugby teams.

Jamie Cudmore sacked from his role in the Canadian Rugby Union for mocking the Womens 7 squad losing, on social media

Seems he has an issue with them speaking out about racism towards the First Nations in Canada, from how he was tweeting

Edit: Missed this news when it happened - friend and former teammate of Cudmore, gues that explains his "survivors" jab as well
