@ smartcooky

By any chance do you know when the Sharks last red card in the S14 was?
I don't know where to start looking

With regards to the match, Sharks seemed to have gone down a gear since the red card
O' Connor's kicking has been really good today, slotting kicks from all over

Best of luck to Odwa, even more so because Mvovo was wincing a lot- might still be suffering from the injury he got last week
Bring on the second half

Red card was a fair call.
Anyone notice what was going on in the ruck pocock got injured in? Dirty *****.

Yes, I think I saw that. It looked like a crafty elbow into Pocock's face?

I only got one look because the replays were all from different angles (focusing on the action leading up to Ndungane's try)

IIRC, 2009 v the Highlanders in Durban. Rory Kockott got red carded for punching Adam Thomson. Can't think of one since.

(EDIT: They had three yellows and no reds in 2010)

Ah yes, I remember now, he gave him a little tap on the cheek and he went down as though Mike Tyson had just assualted him

Surprised at how well Force have stayed in this game

That about matches my recollection.

The most amazing thing was how Kockott managed to reach up high enough to punch him.

Lol :D

It seems I am not the only person who has troubles telling the difference between Daniel, McLeod and Ludik, especially when their hair is wet

Good performance considering we played most of the match against 14, also did well to withstand that spell of Force pressure
I've got a sudden urge to play The Force Unleashed, hopefully like the Sharks the force will be with me*

*(How old must this joke be on TRF ;) )

2010)

More like a ufc neck lock.....couldnt tell which shark it was but pocock didnt have any influence in that ruck and while his legs were pinned someone tried to rip his head off his neck. Hoping its not serious damage to the knee......he's the only openside flanker the wallabies have got atm.

Game was over before it really begun in the end.
Sharks look awesome early stretching the force defense. Shame JP looks injured again.

As happy as I am that we got the bonus point, I cannot ignore the fact how we almost gave it away in the second half. Mvovo scored 2 tries who were not valid (of which the second one was magnificent) but apart from that we were giving WF too much opportunities to come back. In attack I noticed we were passing way to early time and time again. How difficult is it to walk up to your man and pass in stead of passing before hand and running out of options.

Alberts had yet another shocker with cannot be camouflaged by his try. When Kankowski came on we got more variety in attack and I believe that is what got us the bonus point with good off-loads. Next week Rebels and we have to pick up the pace before we travel to New Zealand.

Great result, but a couple of injury concerns...will bring updates as soon as i get them. Well done Sharks...3 games and have still have not conceded a try; that shows the character of this world class side.

True that, hes good of the bench.

Sharks looking strong at the moment.

Odwa Ndungane update-

On Facebook from the man himself: "Thanks all for all your support and prayers, given the all clear from the doctors,God is great."

Jpp...got no news yet, but i don't think he will be playing for at least the next month. Hopefully it is not too bad, shall wait and see.

Good news about Odwa, he's been in sparkling form of late and deserved the try he scored

Does anyone think that Plumtree might use the Rebels game to rotate players?
Smit might be due a start, as well as Potgeiter, also why was the line-up changed? Did Kanko get a ****le or something?

Kanko on bench was a tactical move. Confirmed, JPP is flying home, he has hurt his knee and we will know more on the extent of the injury 2morrow. Also no news yet on wheather Deysel will join the squad for the Rebels game or only in New Zealand. I hope he will, some guys in the squad need to rest up a bit.

Sharks looked solid yesterday. They play smart rugby and have the firepower to make the most of any opportunities.

Lambie looked good and outplayed O'Conner. We need to move him out a few spots so he can do what he does best and make the most of broken play.

I never thought I would say this but I am happy that the Sharks miss out on the Highlanders this season haha

I like that, Ive got a new found respect for Odwa.

Great win for the sharks congratz, my father is really happy and I must say from a South African point of view that they look hungry.

It Sounds like Deysel won't be joining the team in Aus this week. They hoping to have him available for the New Zealand half of the tour.

It is also going around that Rassie Erasmus and Eddie Jones will be part of the Springbok management team during the world cup. An announcement should be made shortly.
