First would have been Mel Gibson if he could play in the backsYou do realise you're insulting Scotland's second greatest hero?
I thought that it could be the reason...but...now I'm curious: James bond (the character) is Scotsman or Englishman?Sean Connery

Scottish and Swiss according to chat GPTI think Fleming said he was Scottish but don't quote me on that
Here's one good reason never to trust chatgptScottish and Swiss according to chat GPT
Scottish father, Swiss mother grew up in Scotland at Skyfall, Glen Coe.I thought that it could be the reason...but...now I'm curious: James bond (the character) is Scotsman or Englishman?![]()
Thought he was born and raised in England. At least that’s what Chat GPT said. lol.Scottish father, Swiss mother grew up in Scotland at Skyfall, Glen Coe.
It was fine, the F1 racing sequences are great. Some of the acting was **** poor (like it genuinely felt they were doing a first read), some characters felt superfluous and were meant to have a character or team arc but didn't. like it genunely felt the entire pit crew story ended up on the cutting room floor and we ended up with remnants of it.The f1 movie was better than I expected. Was even better in the imax, some superb filming
I think its pretty much up in the air to whoever writing Bond at the time.Thought he was born and raised in England. At least that's what Chat GPT said. lol.
should add I think general audiences will have a great time with it but this isn't Top Gun: Maverick in quality. It was fine, the F1 racing sequences are great. Also knowing F1 I couldn't believe,
People didn't listen to the team radio to get the facts of a particular event. (It didn't help there appeared to be two conflicting stories of what people belived to be the issue)
The team was disqualified for their blatant tactics.
The impression I always had*, was that Fleming didn't specify, but ret-conned him Scottish after Connery took the role, but in notes, rather than canon.I think Fleming said he was Scottish but don't quote me on that
In the the Daniel Craig continuity...none of it makes sense if you try to say all the Bond actors are the same storyline.Film-wise, Skyfall made him canonically Scottish.
Loved the book.
Surprised they're introducing Rocky in advance
