The f1 movie was better than I expected. Was even better in the imax, some superb filming
It was fine, the F1 racing sequences are great. Some of the acting was **** poor (like it genuinely felt they were doing a first read), some characters felt superfluous and were meant to have a character or team arc but didn't. like it genunely felt the entire pit crew story ended up on the cutting room floor and we ended up with remnants of it.

Also knowing F1 I couldn't believe,
People didn't listen to the team radio to get the facts of a particular event. (It didn't help there appeared to be two conflicting stories of what people belived to be the issue)
The team was disqualified for their blatant tactics.

Thought he was born and raised in England. At least that's what Chat GPT said. lol.
I think its pretty much up in the air to whoever writing Bond at the time.

I think Ian Fleming added the Scottish backstory after Connery's portrayal (whom he originally objected to) and various media do and don't use it. Its one of those don't try to pin down Bond canon because there isn't one.

should add I think general audiences will have a great time with it but this isn't Top Gun: Maverick in quality.

I think Fleming said he was Scottish but don't quote me on that
The impression I always had*, was that Fleming didn't specify, but ret-conned him Scottish after Connery took the role, but in notes, rather than canon.
Film-wise, Skyfall made him canonically Scottish.

*Worth noting, that my time as a fan and reading them was back in my teenage years - which are long past me

Loved the book.
Surprised they're introducing Rocky in advance

beat me too it, really excited about this, loved the book, like Ryan gosling.....my only concern is how to fit it into a one movie

Shame it's still 9 months away
i saw the top comment on you tube was "Amaze. Amaze Amaze. I sleep now for 9 months. You watch."....i think that sums things up nicely
