Mad Max: Fury Road

Beautifully made and superbly acted but could've done with a bit more back story. 9/10

Isn't it supposed to be a continuation of the same 'era' as Mad Max II/III? Not seen it yet, but seems to be the same post-apocolyptic world.

That's what George Miller has said. Next one is said to be out in 2018. Everything's written for it just need to film it.

Mrs.Mackem Falcon fancies seeing Tomorroworld. Anyone here seen it?

Have heard awful reviews of it(which, as they're by 'professional' critics usually means it's a good film.)

Had a Saw marathon.

You need to use vaseline on your nipples.....

It's currently running 49% rotten on the RT meter, mind Fury Road is currently at 98%, read what you like into that.

Mad Max: Fury Road - Guilty pleasure, being way over hyped at the moment.

The new Avengers was alright...Ultron was not a very good villain, but the humour was quality. Overall it was a good middle film to build up for the Avengers finale.

Finally got around to watching Fury Road.
It's definitely been over-hyped, but I loved it! It's so over the top it's great!

From someone who doesn't like action movies in general... Fury Road was one-of-a-kind special. So I think it deserves all the hype it gets!

Like the look of the Martian, although some of the dialogue is a little cringy hammy and the trailer gives a little too much away.

I don't know what it is about studios with ridiculously long and spoiler trailers nowadays. Is the general attention span of people getting ridiculously short, and they feel the need to bash the 'best bits' into them? TV is especially bad, with E4 (channel that shows things like Big Bang Theory, Revenge etc in the UK) being the worst I've seen. They play a 30 second 'trailer' for a programme that's 25/40 mins long, and basically show everything that's going to happen.

Vent over, back to movie talk.

Watched 'Warm Bodies' again, really funny film (even if it is a teen romance, it's worth watching). Also watched 'Seven Psycopaths' today. Weird, but entertaining.

Can't stop watching this! (technically it's a movie, but it's free!)

I watched the new Russian film "Territory" for the development of the Far North in the 60s of the last century.

Got around to watching Mad Max FR and don't think its been overhyped at all. It was that good. I saw some bad reviews (1/10) on some sites but I'm not sure what some people were expecting. Maybe a love story? A few sex scenes? More chit chat? All the usual cliches.

10/10 IMO.
Best film since the Dark Knight.

The answer is in your post.

Reynolds confirmed to be playing Deadpool in the new film. Along with Doctor Strange confirmed to be released.

Did you see the trailer for the Deadpool movie yet?

I don't want to add the link here as the trailer itself is NSFW. A lot of Swearing in the trailer. But it looks like it's going to be awesome!

Yes. Loved it.

The test footage (sorry can't find link right now) from a couple of years back is really worth watching too

Really?

I wanted it to be good, whats wrong with it?

There are some decent little moments in it but the shouting where it's not needed is a huge annoyance. There's a strong romantic storyline going through most of the time which doesn't enhance the plot at all. The scene in London is car crash at best. There's a small glimmer of what could be with Sean Beans' cameo and a chase scene but they both fall by the waste side all topped off with the final scene that lasts about 5 minutes.

Shame because it's a good premise let down by having Sandlers DNA all over it.

Inside Out. It was something else, even for Pixar.

It was one of the funniest films I've ever seen, but hit me in the feels for so much of the movie. 80% of film with tears in eyes. Went in with high expectations, still came out blown away. Didn't shy away from very dark topics, still making them accessible for kids.

10/10, at least in my top 3 films.
