I thought Jungle Book was brilliant, and Lion King looks great too.
Not seen Beauty and the Beast but by all accounts it's very good.

They were on to a stinker with Aladdin from the get-go, though - you'll never replace Robin Williams and whoever they cast would always have been compared to him. His character is almost bigger than the movie itself, so a remake was always going to draw criticism from fans.

Beauty and the Beast remake was excellent. I think it is the best of the Disney remakes so far. It also added a bit to the story of the animated version.

Won't be surprised if this Aladdin remake is a car crash. Looks like Guy Ritchie just used Avatar's CGI and transplanted onto Will Smith.
But still it'll make a tonne of cash.

Lion King looks better.

Lion King is going to make loads of money. Never underestimate nostalgia. (I say this but I'm definitely going to watch it 10 times in the first week it's out.)

Along with 3 Marvel films, Disney are going to set some records at the box office this year.

Avengers Endgame is going to smash a lot of records. Star Wars has lost a bit of steam in the last few years but that'll make loads as well. Throw in everything else and Disney will probably set a box office record for most by a studio in a year this year with a lot to spare.

Super pumped for the motley crue film coming out on Netflix next month, they're one of my favourite bands and the book it's based on is very good.

Just watched Captain Marvel... and actually liked it quite a bit. Don't know if all the negative reviews and publicity lowered my expectations so much that it didn't have to do much or not but yeah pretty good.

What negative reviews? Everything I've seen from real critics and not internet trolls looking for clicks seam to think it's good not great a solid 4 star flick as is just about every MCU origin film.

Just all the YouTube reviewers that usually fawn over all things Marvel don't seem as keen on this... probably because it might 'confuse' the short attention span crowd during the first 30 minutes.

... been psyched since the end of Infinity War to be fair. Like @TobyBeastTeague said they've given very little away so far (considering this was the second full trailer) but I think that is probably a good thing. For the first time in a long while watching Marvel movies, I'll be going to the showing having little to idea what's going to happen.

older films are infinitely better...i did watch serenity with matt mcconaughey , i like him, and anne hathaway, bit of a bore but pretty eyes
it was ok i gguess , the story was a tad absurd , he had to chuck her hubby off a fishing boat for ten million quid
other than that all my sky plus is full with older classics...alfie....serpico....five easy pieces...the shining....mean streets....the men. giant...on the waterfont...angels with dirty faces...casablanca..once upon a time in the west...deer hunter...scent of a woman...willy wonka..hitchcock movies .etc i simply adore bogart, cagney, bette davis, brando, monty cliff...ingrid bergman was the sexiest imo...henry fonda jack lemon deniro gene wilder...laurel and hardy etc etc
