Swing Low, Sweet Chariot

Maybe, maybe not. Jerusalem and the National Anthem will still be sung and they undeniably work better with full choirs and the audience too......

We'll see if the full versions return in later years. But the whole thing has certainly given rise to some heated debate.

Rule Brittania?
The b*****s scammed ya
No smiling union jacks
My friends, I want my money back
But what about the system?
I think no one would miss them
Brain-dead corpses in the house of lords
We could all learn a thing or two from Guy Fawkes
'Cause this is not the United Kingdom
No, this is not the United Kingdom
This is not the United Kingdom
This is not the UK
Rule Brittania?
What's she ever done for me?
Stuck a nail in the coffin of my national pride
And made the tourists hate me
This green and emerald isle?
Eight hundred miles of bile
High rise, car parks, ash tray dirt?
We could still learn a thing or two from Guy Fawkes
'Cause this is not the United Kingdom
No, this is not the United Kingdom
This is not the United Kingdom
This is not the UK
Breakdown
Rule Brittania
'Cause England never, ever will be saved (ha, ha)
Rule Brittania?
Our first national scam
Watches starving children on her tv screen
While she's shacked up with her Uncle Sam

Smashed this back then, was it really 20-odd years ago?

If there are no spectators for internationals I wonder if swing low crowd noise will be played on the broadcast for England matches or omitted like Exeter's Tomahawk Chop?

Looks like Land of Hope & Glory and Rule Britannia will now be sung at the Last Night after all. Is it possible that one day a decision will be taken by someone somewhere about something and stuck to without U turns? (Although FWIW I think they've arrived at the right decision).

We flip flop so much that the "Great Britain proudly brought to you by Havaianas" tag line can't be far off.
