dangerous reds side who are backed into a corner. going to be an interesting game, I dont normally watch all aussie games but this is almost a finals qualifier.

Supporting the Brumbies in this one.. simply as I don't want the Reds to catch up with the Highlanders on the table ;)

EDIT: Phenomenal individual try by Morahan!

OMG this is AWFUL!!!!!

What a staggering contrast between the exciting, sometimes brilliant running rugby of the Hurricanes v Rebels match, and this bore-fest!

Wow, I usually hate missing any matches but I almost booked out of this one.
Frustrating game to watch.

Much more at stake probably made it more tight and boring.

Steve Walsh didn't help. He did however improve in the second half. He's an incredibly **** ref.

Why does he always walk around like he's got a carrot up his bum? Did he break his hip at one point, it looks like he runs awkwardly and I know people with hip issues never really regain there proper running motion.

Perhaps because he really has a carrot up his arse.

I'm watching the replay now, Walsh has done a good job so far. This had a real potential to turn into a complete mess (ie: AUS vs SA 2011). But he stayed focused and kept the game on track. Which is very hard to do.

Steve Walsh began refereeing at the age of 13 after a serious neck injury he sustained at the age of 12, curtailed any chance of him playing Rugby again, or any contact sport.

I kind of feel like a jerk for posting that now, but that totally explains it, he walks and runs very...upright shall I say, dosen't really swing his arms properly either, I have had some neck issues with repetitive motion and overuse(pounding in 2,500 T-posts by hand was not a good idea it seems), and it's difficult to retain proper posture.
