Super Rugby: Hurricanes vs. Crusaders in Wellington (08/03/2013)

Yeah it's dumb passes like that the Canes have to cut out... A crap pass from Barrett to Smith. It's the little things.

Its quite popular lately and all those passes have ended up in a drop ball.

LOL the 'Saders move from the Mighty Ducks didnt work HA!

Tap & go! That's a bold move. Hopefully it pays off. #HURvCRU #super15

Anyone else think the Crusaders are getting hard done by?? My feeling after the first half is both teams are playing pretty crap BUT the last 6 points for the Canes were lucky IMHO. The first I though Barrett tapped the ball on forward after the kick off before a penalty was eventually award, and the last penalty with the Crusaders coming in from the side was iffy as well. I would have thought 7-6 would be a fair indication of the first half.
Anyway both teams crap so if either of these teams can play a full 40min of semi decent rugby they will win!

Yeah boring game so far. Hopefully it gets better

I don't think it's been boring - enough running to keep it entertaining. Just a couple more passes sticking and there'd be three or four more tries in it.

I guess as long as the score is close it wont be boring BUT it is certainly NOT good rugby

I love the way the ref played multiple advantages in that movement leading up to the "potential" try there!

correction "try"! Do you guys know what I mean about multiple advantages though? I feel that so often a team get an advantage only for the defending team to infringe again and the ref to blow off the advantage back to the original penalty.

Great try IZZY but can I say - he is going to be bald at this rate by the time he finishes his AB career!!

WOW Savea! That reminds me so much of Lomu!

Savea and Conrad are the only reason the canes are in this game.

Savea has been better than lomu and Conrads defence has been just amazing.

Bloody ridiculous. This is what I hate about the hurricanes. They always follow up exciting rugby with a period of crap rugby that let's the other team in. So frustrating.

Savea is having a stunner. Big runs, big tackles. Hope this is a sign of things to come this season.

Fist pump. Nice work Leuia.

good win by the Canes! bloody lucky IMO, but a win none the less.

The conferance system is bloody tough on the NZ teams man. Gives the other mugs a chance though i guess.

Not surprised at all with the results. Crusaders strategy is too predictable especially Dan Carter. I was shocked when they did no sign up Baden Kerr from Canterbury. It was a blessing that DC was injured during World Cup and the competition was not familiar with all the replacement fly half..

Baden Kerr is from Counties...

Plus, this match could easily have gone either way. I think the Crusaders actually looked much better on attack (indeed, they scored four tries!), it was just some of the reserves didn't play to the level they needed. Taylor was good value when he came on, for all of five minutes.
