So I read that the 'Canes have some hooker problems, and that a rookie will be making his first start against the Bulls on the Weekend.

With the Bulls being one of the best teams at the lineouts and their driving mauls which has produced a lot of tries for them so far this season, I expect it will be a long day at the office for the visitors...

They will most likely opt for many quick line outs to try and nullify the bulls lineouts.

I think this will be the toughest test for JJ and the wings this year. Hopefully visser would be back instead of beyers.

The Bulls will also have to work hard on their scrums. With Greyling back they have no excuse.

Looking forward to some driving malls, have a very good feeling about this game
Having a braai at my place just for this game, nogals from 'n Stormers guy...

Our Blood is Blue for this one, can't wait

We will only know if Visser is fit tomorrow. But I think we should give Clayton Blommetjies a go at Fullback. That guy is dangerous!!

I agree that the 'Canes have a dangerous backline, but without a good fight in the forwards, the backs won't be of much use. Luckily our injuries are starting to become a thing of the past with many guys returning from long stints out. Especially Marcell van Der Merwe

I think it would be a bit premature to pit blommetjies up against the Canes. He might be one of the best attacking fullbacks in SA but his defence needs work, but he should learn a lot in Currie cup this year. We need a good defensive FB against the Canes, but we don't have any.

Our team is almost at full strength again, I think Hougi should either start on wing, or an impact sub at scrumhalf.

Are the bulls starting to win you over Gena? It must be the pink jerseys! :D

With that out the way, this game is going to be a cracker!

Nope, I support all SA teams and when one of them wakes up and start playing the correct players and correct game plan I am with them all the way
Realistically I see the bulls in with a real chance of taking the ***le

My lapa & showing I support all SA teams (need a Kings flag it seems) stereotype provincialism is so 2012...

Why is it that the Bulls have their best loosehead playing Vodacom cup? Dawie Steyn is way better at scrum time than Greyling and Mellet and easily just as mobile. I don't want to critisize any players but Dewald Potgieter is not one of our best loose forwards.

Don't let the hookers fool you, there's plenty to choose from (hehehe) but seriously the Bulls driving maul is formidable/powerful and will be difficult to contain, the Hurricanes were lucky not to be down to 13 against the Stormers last week with the collapsing of the mauls, so once again they will face a similar tactic, hopefully they can deal with it better this week. Driving mauls are a real strength of SA rugby, personally I think it's totally awesome to see. Quite envious whenever I see it.

Andre Taylor has been extremely lac lustre this year, the team really miss his scything runs and try scoring but dont see it returning at all, to me it looks like last year was his finest hour. Also missing Cory Jane, I think those two had a synergy going but since Jane is injured Andre has been invisible.

The Hurricane loosies are very good, I like Shields, Vito and Savea although he's not quite there yet, but Rob Lowe is more than useful as well.

My head says the Bulls but there's an outside chance for the Hurricanes!!! Go the Canes!!!

Man where is that, that is just awesome!!!

Canes playing poorly, away from home, against a non-NZ team = Bulls by 10.

Hmm, more of a television actor than a professional rugby player...Karl Lowe is pretty good though..

Canes playing poor full stop. I'm certainly not one to stop watching games when the team is playing like crap, but I'm starting to think this is going to be a season that doesn't feature the Hurricanes in the play offs.

Bulls
Jurgen Visser , Akona Ndungane , JJ Engelbrecht , Wynand Olivier, Bjorn Basson, Morne Steyn, Jano Vermaak , Pierre Spies (c), Dewald Potgieter , Deon Stegmann, Juandre Kruger , Flip van der Merwe , Werner Kruger , Chiliboy Ralepelle , Dean Greyling .
Replacements : Willie Wepener, Frik Kirsten, Grant Hattingh, Arno Botha, Francois Hougaard, Louis Fouche, Lionel Mapoe.

Another strong team we have going here, Serfontein gets a well deserved rest as he has a light stress injury, and Botha is on the bench, although I think he makes a bigger difference as an impact player but he has been nothing less than excellent in all his games, we will miss him next year.

I'm looking forward to this game, Bulls by 7

As a side note, look at the team the Vodacom Cup team is putting against the Kings, that is one strong second team!

Where is Arno going to? Please don't tell me he is pulling a CJ on SA Rugby...

"Botha is contracted until October 2014 and that talks about a possible extension of his contract have already started."

That's the thing. Nobody knows where he's going, if he is going somewhere.
