Super 15: Bulls - Sharks @ Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria (18-06-2011, 16:05 GMT)

Mon the Cheetahs, if the Sharks play like this again, they could trouble the Crusaders in their back yard, but I'd rather they play the Stormers

So, going by that little video in the other thread, this is what will happen

Qualifier 1: Crusaders/ Stormers vs. Sharks
Qualifier 2: Blues vs. Waratahs

Semi-final 1: Reds vs. Winner of Qualifier 1
Semi-final 2: Stormers/ Crusaders vs. Winner of Qualifier 2

So, the Sharks will be looking to face the Stormers in the first qualifier, knock-out the Reds in Brisbane in the semi, and pray to the rugby gods that one of the Blues or Waratahs beats the Crusaders

Nope.

Semifinal 1: Reds vs. lowest ranked qualifier
Semifinal 2: Stormers (now we now it) vs. highest ranked qualifier

Now, qualifiers are:

QF 1 - Crusaders vs. Sharks
QF 2 - Blues vs. Waratahs

Hypothetically: if Crusaders and Blues will make the semifinal, Reds would take the lowest ranked one (Blues) and the Stormers would play the highest one (Crusaders)

Ah, now I see

So the Sharks could just end up playing the Stormers in Cape Town, however though it wouldn't be ideal flying to and back from Australasia in 2 weeks

Yes, but that would be the final. Beating the Crusaders, then the Reds and then the Stormers (or Blues, or Waratahs) would be epic. But I don't really see that happenning...

I couldn't believe it when I saw Meyer Bosman make ground going into contact.
Good performance from the Sharks, one to be proud of! Crusaders will be a tough task, but lets at least have a good showing.

Still not sure about Michalak's kicking. It worked sometimes against a scattered Bulls side, but any team with a half decent fullback would kill us with it.
Drop goal was handy though.

In the end the Sharks determination gave them a really impressive win. They came out firing and were playing the brand of rugby that all their supporters wanted to see. Hope they can keep this going into the match against the Crusaders. Seems they like the underdog tag which is surely hanging around their necks this coming weekend.
