Super 15: Lions - Sharks @ Ellis Park, Johannesburg (11-06-2011, 15:05 GMT)

I hope so too, otherwise I will be throwing away 40.000 dollars!

Sharks start out very cautious. Kicking for goal twice, Lambie missed 1, scored 1. 0-3 after 10 minutes but a very sloppy game with knock ons from, yes... you guessed it, Charl McLeod

Sharks nowhere to be seen at the moment. Lions drive through from a line out for the first try... 11-3 with a conversion to go.

The Sharks are treating this like a bloody training match

At this rate if the Lions don't win by 20+, they don't deserve to be called professional players

This match is exactly the same as last week. Lions trying, Sharks just relaxing. Let's hope the second half is better, like last week. The wrong decisions are piling up once again

Second try for the Lions. What is happening here? Man man man... Might be disallowed for a foot in touch according to the ref but the TMO shows nothing wrong...

18-9 with a conversion to go... Unbelievable... We are throwing away our play off chances against the f*king Lions of all teams...

20-9 now. Defensively we are playing like Rebels :(

Has Smit actually done anything today?
Smit, Van Staden, McLeod, Bosman, Terblanche are all simply shocking.

How Plumtree can pick the same 'players' every week I will never know.

Subs on at halftime please.

Terblanche -> Jacobs
Smit -> Bismarck du Plessis
van Staden -> Herbst
McLeod -> Michalak

That should solve some of the issues... We need quicker ball recycling

**** me, the Drunk Eskimoes of Dyslexic Nerds Society XV could beat this motley lot

I can't recall us stringing three phases together without us going backward, the only times we have been in the Lions half is straight from the kick-off.

A worrying note: I placed my humble 10 bucks on us to when this match.
Since vBookie was added, I haven't called a single match right!
Now you know why it was wise for me not to join the TRF prediction game?

I got lucky once.
Perhaps I should bet on the outcome I don't want...

I still feel it's a shame you did not join the prediction game LH... Will you be joining us for the Currie Cup, Tri Nations or RWC version?

I am going to take a dump. At least I know that offload will go perfectly today

And the backs cannot do anything. That leaves Lambie... Well, he is good, but there are limits to his achievements. This has been an inevitable outcome. We were going to lose sooner or later but to do it against the Lions.... Oh man...

Only just got home. How are the Lions winning? (it looks like the backs are very fluent) And what did Butch get carded for?

Plumtree is a f***ing idiot.
Sub off Ludik and not McLeod. Subs came on way too late.
It was clear 30 minutes in that Terblanche, Smit and the rest of the lot couldn't handle the match.

I don't see how they could ever play professional rugby again, and for Smit, the Boks are screwed if he is captaining them.

We threw the play offs away by this. OMG!!! How can we possibly play with Smit, Terblanche, McLeod and Bosman? Why take the effort to bring Michalak and Joubert to Durban and not use them? Maybe Joubert is only eligible later on, but Michalak is on the bench! Why still stick with McLeod who has shown his inability week after week?

Maybe next week I should stop watching after 10 minutes because the moment I turned off the match to take a dump, the Sharks scored 3 tries...

Guess. What is Buth James' favourite style of tackling?

Well lets just say that the Headless Horsemen need not fear Butch.

Subs completely turned the game, Michalak made 2-3 bad passes before he adjusted quite well at fly-half.

I seriously can't believe the Lions never went for the win, kind of like the Brumbies/ Force game IIRC. Honestly, that was the last game of the season for them, I'd hate to have a greater fear of losing than the desire to win, it just smacks of poor attitude to me

Yea i know what you mean. Watching the Brumbies kick it out sucked. They had nothing to lose.

I've bet on two draws this weekend, and both were the wrong games!!!!
