Sidhe's Rugby Challenge

Will the PC game be available for distribution online, on DVD or both? Nowhere's offering PC preorders yet and I'm getting a little twitchy ;)

They have RWC release date showing you may want to check your pre-order.

Most shops seem to be making a general guess, I'm just guessing that they haven't changed it yet. Anyone had any experience with gameseek? That price is pretty damn good.

They trade on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/seller/at-a-glance.html?ie=UTF8&seller=AHNKY9QJF0R25 their feedback looks favourable and they seem to have a lot of 505 games on the storefront. Operating out of Cheshire UK, neither of the new ***les are available on their Amazon storefront as yet. You can find contact details off the link too.

The link above is for the PC you know this? it's another £10 for consoles.

6) Do you have any plans to release the game in the USA?

MW: I am unsure at this stage of specific distribution plans. However, it
is much easier currently to make a ***le multi region capable, so even if
it turns out the game isn't explicitly distributed in North America people
there should be able to play it on their consoles if they can get hold of a copy from overseas.

If the game is not released in the US, I wouldn't have an issue importing a copy if it works on my "fat" PS3. Is this still an option at this point?

Yes, the PS3 is region free so will work fine.

Now that I've played both I can tell you that RC is pretty damn awesome. It's not perfect, and I've only played a short couple of games, but there is enough there to convince me that it is the superior game. Played multi player on side cam and it was a lot of fun. Managed a couple of side steps and fends.

Only weird moment is was when a two person maul broke out and they seemed to awkwardly wrestle for about 10 seconds while the other players just watched (But this is probably down to neither of us understanding how to bind players to the maul).

My players also seemed to tire towards the end of the game and drop off of tackles, probably due to my over exuberance at the breakdown. Really enjoyed it.

I've had the impression from the videos that the controls will take a bit of getting used to.

Q: is there anything (about releasing date) the stores already know, that we don't?

Does anyone know anything about forward play in RC? I get the impression that you can't choose to pass to a forward like RWC? I hope i'm wrong but can't seem to find an aswer.

Thanks

You can. At open play or breakdown you can pass to 7+ players closest to the ball, whoever they are.

I'm so incredibly pumped for this game, it just looks so so good. Literally cannot wait for it!

The bar has been set by RWC 2011 for sidhe's rugby challenge

:p very nice of them to set it so so low

Tidy!

But ....

Released in New Zealand on 2 September, and Australia and South Africa on 8 September.

No European date ... :(
