Should the Pumas stay in the RC, for the next seasons. Yes or No? Argue

To be honest this would probably make it harder for Argentine players to get contracts. If NZ players knew they could make the All Blacks whilst not playing for an NZ team they would be far more willing to leave the country. More NZ players would be playing Super Rugby, decreasing the number of positions available for Argentinians.

Disagree there. Just because your a kiwi doesnt automatically mean that you can play the game

Fairly certain clubs would choose Argies national team players over kiwi players who cant get a gig elsewhere.

You're an idiot. Thats not what he's saying.
Kiwi players are desired everywhere because they live and breathe the game from an early age and ut shows when they play.
Kiwi players are inundated into countries the world over.
Sure the top cream of Argie players would get a berth no problem but after that the Kiwi players are vast in numbers and they are all Super XV calibre and want a gig for money in a heartbeat.
Mr fish speaks the truth and you need to wake up.

Some if these rules don't make sense. Why is that NZ doesn't sign more Argies to play or south Africa?

The more Argentines NZ signs the fewer places there are for NZ qualified players, which means the player pool I smaller for NZ. Normally the NZ teams don't get the opportunity to sign big name Argentina players because they aren't willing to take the massive pay cuts they'll incur from playing in NZ, which means the vast majority of Argentinians available for selection are either mediocre or unestablished, in which case teams will feel a place in the squad is better off saved for an NZ player that fits the same category.

Rather personal but if thats what you believe. I do believe that he is incorrect. I think that while yes Kiwis are spreading everywhere (and no not all of them are SR calibre ) that also the Argies with a few more years under the belt will start to come through in SR which would allow them to play more for the Pumas. So how about you wake up, slap the sheep your spooning and understand that while yes the Kiwis live the game, allot of other countries love it as well and given the shot will improve and will also be accepted in other countries.

I think Sanzar is looking to replace Argentina for another fourth invitational team since the pumas have performed poorly. Perhaps fiji, tonga, or the USA.

So you know nothing about Australian Rugby? We have a massive gap between out state based comps to Super Rugby. A national competition is needed and preyed for by any lover of Australian Rugby otherwise we may not be around for much longer. The fact the ARU dumped the old ARC after 1 season was a joke and a pathetic attempt by them to help a bottom line not to help Rugby in this country. Hopefully they are more patient this time. The more strong nations the better.

Oh to reply yes the Pumas should be in the RC. They should also have a team in SR (though have no idea how). Maybe allow all SR teams to sign Argies.

WTF???? I just said to the players of Tier 1, a short season is better. Less games, less injuries. For those players who have proven to be good at Tier 1, for example: Quade Cooper, Will Genia and Israel Folau. A short season of Super Rugby as much time to rest, now for rookies while a long season is better for them.

Cheers

Fiji and Tonga have no stadiums nor infrastructure to support the championship so it means the pumas must stay! Canada is northern hemisphere so logistically it will not work. Zansar will have to make it work for the pumas. They will improve soon, perhaps next year will show some improvement.

Argentina to be a force in TRC, SANZAR will have to become SANZAAR ASAP. Argentina will have to manage somehow to contribute though as it can't be a charity organization.

Disagree, you can play one game and get an injury taking you out for the entire year. Hell you can train in the preseason and be given a season off injury. For Australian Rugby we need as many games as possible and especially a 2nd tir to shrink the gap between state based comps and SR.

It's not even an issue, the Argies will be in the RC forever and they are a brilliant addition.
Most welcome.

Agree with James boy. They have awesome talent just a matter of some minor modifications. The 2007 team was awesome but they all retired.

All parties involved in the RC signed a legally binding agreement for a specified period of time. Unless it's by mutual consent it would require legal action to dissolve it before the agreement expires.

The solution to UAR's player problem is to contract them centrally , base them at home and play at Super level.

Where on earth are you picking up this crap?

Too right if Australia or South Africa have a bad year will either of them be replaced by Fiji or Tonga? Broadcasters in those last two places will really be falling over themselves to show that tournament.
