Quite surprised that there has been no thread for this match.

With Scotland's successful yet one try tour over the Pumas will they have the class to match up to the rampant All Blacks.

Personally I have greater hopes for the South Africa match, even if Murrayfield experiences the worst weather ever and Carter has an extremely bad kicking day the All Blacks have too much class and strength not to win.

On a side note: Where is Jason White?
Another side note: We must not be too reliant on Parks, Jackson and possibly David Blair must be tested although there could be an easier baptism against Samoa.

Edinburgh's game against Northampton have shown a rare enterprising and more importantly try scoring spirit within the game and hopefully this will be carried to the international stage.

Because its not in the first set of AI ... NZ play England!

i agree. i think we will struggle to get any kind of good result against the all blacks, but we might just squeeze a win from SA and im confident we can beat samoa.

Though Scotland are improving, they're good at nullifying the other teams and grinding out a win (a la Australia last year) however I can't see that happening against NZ.
Like Finerz said though, SA is doable (possibly) and Samoa is a good shout as well

Idd, NZ will be a different level, the other games should be realistic.

Really?
I can see him barely getting any room whatsoever this tour. Look what happened to Jamie Roberts after the Lions tour: People realised how dangerous he was given an inch of space, so as soon as he got the ball he was put on his arse.

Yeah but Jamie Roberts didn't star in a Rebel Sports Ad lol....

Put it this way, SBW has run in some good tries for Canterbury this season... His teammates around him are good and provide great space for him...

In the All Blacks, he will be included in the best team in the world and their ability to put players into space is immense... Now, his immense strength and deceptive speed combined will provide the perfect opportunity for him to get his hat trick, you don't see many in test rugby these days and I think this may be his only time to do it

Maybe we'll see Donald start?. The pressure of playing Scotland at home will be immense as will the challenge of beating a team that has never beaten us. Donald needs to be tested and this is as bigger challenge as he can handle. Boy I hope he trains the house down this week if he gets the start.

He'll definatly start, they won't risk Carter getting injured with Ireland and Wales still to go. They'll load the bench up and put a relatively weak team on the park.

I don't know that they would start McCaw and not Muliaina for sentimental reasons. It would seem fair to either bring them both off the bench or start them together for their 92nd tests.

I think CJ should get a start at fullback. Punishment for Milsy for kicking so much ball away. Hore is back and needs a start as does Braid as McCaw will be starting against Ireland and Wales. Smith is back and deserves a run as he probably needs it
