[RWC2023] Wales vs Fiji (10/09/2023)

Fiji have been physical, intense and brutal in attack. They are causing so many problems on open play, they are going to test that fitness boast from Gatland.

Wales made use of possession and have scored 2 try's, which is a welcome change from the 6N when their attack was rubbish. Would like to see Wales control territory a bit better, kicking loose is just madness.

From the Laws:
Throw
When both sides are square, stable and stationary, the scrum-half throws in the ball:
Straight. The scrum-half may align their shoulder on the middle line of the scrum, thereby standing a shoulder-width closer to their side of the scrum.

When was the last time a top level ref gave a free kick for a feed that wasn't straight?

he is the worst teammate I've ever seen in elite sport.
I wouldn't say he's an inspirational character, granted, but he is a pretty good decision maker and his executions are quite ok.
He just has a very, VERY low tolerance for other people's incompetence.

Biggar is so angry, he can't be very popular within the team. So quick to have a go at others yet he makes plenty of mistakes himself.
I'd drop him if he was that bad. My local ice hockey team had a very good player but like Bigger he annoyed so many team mates, they refused to pass etc to him. As soon as he was dropped, they did far better. They're too toxic.

Dan was right to have a shout then, the ball should of been kicked out soon as could of cost us a silly try.

Since he announced his retirement after the world cup that's only 3 more games

Ali Price was pinged 2-3 years back in the 6N for this. Not sure anyone could believe it at the time

Thripled to go into half time ahead. Fijian forwards looked tired at times that half, so hopefully our fitness will see us through the second half. Next 20min key though

oh I get that. He's very good and I think everyone has been frustrated when they've been working with others and they aren't meeting expectations. He just doesn't handle it the way a great leader would and he needs to realize he doesn't always make the best decision. Like I said, I emphasize with the way he acts cause I've definitely done the same thing in the past.

Shouldn't the Fijians handle the heat and humidity better than us considering they are from the South Pacific?

The thing is, it's the captain's job to encourage your players not belittle them

Lindross plays in the Elite now?

That is questionable!
I mean, i get the guy and i find him both hilarious and v talented. I'm laughing at him half the times, granted. He is a bit like Loki to Sexton's Thor.
