[RWC2023] South Africa vs Ireland (23/09/2023)

The ghost of Shane Horgan came to me in a dream and told me that Ireland will score a try early, then South Africa will level before getting a slightly contentious but letter of the law red card, which in theory means it should be over as a contest but we spend much of the game only 3 points ahead and it takes us until minute 65 to pull to a 10 point lead, before sealing the game at 72 with a penalty.

I think there is a balance between confidence in your ability and over bending to your opponents.
I meant more in the 7:1 split and expecting a completely diffrent Ireland side and they wouldn't just push out their 1st 23.

They may adjust tactically but it was never going to an reaction pregame.

Jesus! Shaggy's dead?

I think my favourite thing about this board is that before a big game @Groundhog and I come on and say some genuinely outrageous and juvenile things and people mistake it for cockiness and arrogance.
There's absolutely nothing you could say that's anywhere the levels of arrogance that the most pessimistic Springbok fan on twitter spouts all day every day under every post, whether it's Bok related or not

I thought ye were just being Pricks .

And South Africa will **** the bed in this game and 7:1 split will be issue by 2 injuries to backs and a shocking performance at 10.

Heard it here Kilcoyne with last try and MOTM will be Doris or Beirne.
A serious injury to an Irish forward and Lowe to have stinker.
