[RWC2023 QF3] England vs Fiji (15/10/2023)

Issue is he just hasnt played, and hasnt had the chance to knock off the rust in the pool stages, he's still involved in everything.
Still should know what is likely to give a penalty away, rust or not.

I'm not sure either team are playing great. England have taken their chances, but Fiji gifting them points too.

Comfortable half. No nerves what so ever from me.

Different to the Ireland vs. New Zealand game where my heart was beating rapidly non stop. Can't imagine what it was like being Irish watching that game!

Fiji looking a bit sloppy here and there, think their depth is still an issue Caleb Muntz had them looking a lot more controlled. I think this tournament is a cycle early think they will be really dangerous next cycle with groups of them playing together more regularly with drua and helping build depth.

Englands breakdown been very good, everything else been very solid if not amazing. Think they should take this game.

Another ref would have said Earl was too long and not supporting his weight. But hey, if you know the ref will give em...

Slightly harsh on Fiji - Raynal was a fraction of a second away from giving them the scrum penalty, then very quick to give the ruck penalty to England

England disrupted by the injury but I fear I might finally get a prediction right (England by 30ish). Fiji's latest 10 has been just as invisible as the last one.

Fiji lacking the edge they had in the warm ups. England are playing better, but still don't look like they will trouble anyone in the semis.

ok half from us. Felt we looked confused when they went down to 14 and started playing dumb rugby.
