Not sure why everyone freaks put so much about going for the corner every time. Obviously our lineout isn't functioning today but in general it surely makes statistical sense. Especially given the context each one has been in. It's like the 4th and 1 in American football but rugby thinking is slower to come around.

The speed of this is insane. Feel that there's a lot of "just a little bit forward" passes being let go: NZ's second, just before the Yellow, but at the speed it's going, eitehr the refs stop the game every couple of seconds, or you just accept it.

for your average team I'd agree. but teams have to understand that the math changes based on the probability of success on your own inputs.

Stats show going for the penalty is statistically more successful.

have they? I always felt like it strongly depended on the strength of the team's lineout.
