[RWC2023] France vs Uruguay (14/09/2023)

You would have thought after the Farrell fiasco that the officials would have at least made themselves familiar with the HCP

Sorry, what is that reasoning for not a red? Why is there mitigation? Didn't we establish there is no mitigation for a lack of wrap and a straight shoulder. This is what got Farrell… you have 8 minutes to get this right. Man this is a mess. World Rugby, sort your **** out.
Ben Whitehouse is one of the worst referees to have graced European rugby. Turns out he's a shite TMO too

Commentator extremely slow to notice turnover

I sometimes wonder why I follow sport due to the inconsistent refs and judges etc.

Focusing on the positive, considering it should be a 1 point game what a half from Uruguay. They've been massively physical and more than held their own up front against a French team that have been sloppy as sin.

9 looks a very decent player

I'm quite impressed with Uruguay despite their glaring handicap

France have been incredibly disappointing in all of this. This team pitched up thinking easy win, let me get my personal points, but somehow this is a game because Uruguay pitched up to compete as a team. Yellow not being a red is rubbish. Uruguay likely to run out of steam in the last 20.

Not a bad performance by Uruguay in that half. I was distracted by a cricket match and missed why the try got scrubbed off.

Disallowed try is one where you say "technically I guess" but 9/10 times they just let it slide.
