Ouch
Not going to argue this, but I can definitely tell you, England would not be 17-0 up by now.Are you watching this game? When Penaud just kicked a grubber out for touch. When they kicked but caught for being offside when they could have kept the ball. Plays that would have been crucified if England did it.
Lucu is also fast with his distribution. Underrated player cause he is duponts shadow.France's ball presentation is unreal, it's out the back before the tackle is complete

England can't do what France just did for that third try. They just don't have the ambition.France are a better team than England. But France also kick a lot. And not all their kicks are the right decision. I can tell you that.
I actually thought that the gap between Tier Two (plus Italy) and Tier One was genuinely closing, with Portugal, Fiji and Uruguay being esp impressive in this tournament. Now, I am not so sure.
No but they back it up with something else that works not a semi aimless so called spiral bomb on or around the 22 with a poor possession return, as in this game they have warned Italy they are prepared to kick and got some reward for it, they then shape to and don't, variations is all I am saying.France are a better team than England. It's not that their kicks are always right, it's that they are more often right and achieve more than England's do. The majority of England's kicks have no aim other than to put the opposition in possession closer to their posts than ours. The issue isn't how much England kick, it's how bad our decision are to kick and how bad the results of them are.Yeah I know. Doesn't negate my point that France also kick. And not all their kicks are the best decision.
