RWC: South Africa - Wales (11-09-2011, 20:30)

I finally found a pub that shows the matches. I arranged to work late shifts the days the Springboks play, so I watch some rugby in the morning, enjoy a pint or 2, then head off to work!

Ah but will you kick and play boring rugby like you did last RWC Final? ... oh snap

There will be a lot of kicking. Particularly to the genral Welsh posterior region.

What about the try fest of a final?

Lets wait until Wales makes a final (or even just get out of the pool stages for that matter) before you can start talking about how finals should be played.

It was a WC Final, Finals normally in any form of sport are tight not very high scoring games. SA did what they needed to win and closed the game out, England on the other hand tried to play to open and gave to many penaltys away and lost. (Altough we did score that TRY! ;))
You actually did concede a try though ;)
They did!

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Ah good one eyed view ... did the whole media outcry caused by the negative rugby in that final directly led to the ELV's ... or did that bypass? People do remember what a terrible final it was.

Ehm, just look at the 2 nations who wanted to introduce them to the rugby world... SANZAR... now i wonder why it's not in this year's World cup IN NEW ZEALAND!!!

Lol! I like how someone isn't allowed to make a comment about a rugby world cup final simply because his home nation hasn't been there before. If only your mother had given birth to you a few miles east and you'd be english and more than entitled to your opinion, Cymro

But I'm with Cassie on this, i just want this match to start already; too many *****y people in this topic right now.

Okay... So there's Jean de Villiers, Jaque Fourie AND Juan de Jongh in a match according to the ad?

JdV on the wing again? ;)

I guess my comment loses something in translation LOL. I mean more in the sense that it would carry more weight than actual permission. Agreed on the game needing to start; it's already been too long and waiting until Sunday is more than I can bare T_T

Haha, I didn't notice that. Still a pretty cool ad though. Especially the Irish vines that come up.

that vid is rather epic. Dragon looks sweet!!!! :p :p

Seriously that's whetted my appetite for the weekend :D Can't wait for opening game of tournament now :D :D Just waiting for welsh team announcement now, can't see there being any surprises though :D

Look closer, you will also notice that Beast, Jannie, Smit and Steenkamp will be on the field at the same time.

I don't like that advert, the things like Spies springing himself into the 'bulldog', then off-loading whilst persing his lips makes him look like a pansie of note. Oh, and notice how the Dragon appears twice? This advert was really what the injured 22/23 Boks were up to in the Tri-Nations :p

And the bit where the greyhound ( I won't profess to being a canine expert) catches Habana, our backs would struggle to catch a cold, nevermind Habana, even if he is performing poorly in attack.

Managed to change my flight so I can see this game B)
Still miss Argies vs England though :(

i love welsh rugby but am a firm sa supporter, honestly i see a great match on sunday that has the potential to go anyway! mainly because there is so much pressure on both teams for this match! a slip up in the opener and a slip up against fiji/samoa and thats all thats needed for an early plane ride home. My gut says bokke!! hope wales come through and make 2nd in pool d! if they doo and pool c goes as predicted we'll have a fired up wales against hopefully a overconfident aus (they have an easy enough ride and might be peaking to early to hold their form throughout the tournament) so much to look forward to!! honestly cannot wait!

Check 1987 sunshine ... Wales came 3rd, 1999 and 2003 made it out of the group. Any more pointless cheapshots / arrogance you want to throw around?

Probably before the World Cup began in 1987 I'm sure Wales would have won one. But then again we are World Cup 7s holders ....

Oh, 3rd. In 1987. And made it out of group stages twice! Well, I take back everything I've said so far.

Ah Rugby World Cup time, tensions are high and people are already fighting. Love it, I missed this feeling.

I say let the teams do the talking for us on the field on Sunday.

I can't wait for this game, bring it on!

Whoop !
I've been looking for that ad ever since I saw it in HD on someone's 52" Samsung with 5.1 surround sound.

Yeah, it was ****ing epic.
