Georgia 46-0 Russia "A". I am dont known we play without Ostroushko, Artemiev, Simplikevich, Ostrikov, Rachkov, Korshunov, why not Burns flying from Melbourne (he is not play in Super-15 10 weeks)? Kingsley what your doing?
25000 at game in Tbilisi

Little Russia 35-32 Portugal
3500 at game in Odessa
Kingsley said that Russian team would play better if old players replace with new players, because they aren't demoralized by defeats against Georgia.

New players need to put a maximum of 1-2 people, but not half the team! He made it worse.

It's not reason for your defeat.

Have Seen Simplikevich here in Tbilisi, during Junior World Trophy last year. Just before the World Cup.
Raw talent. Very, very good player. Smart, fast and brave.

I was hoping to see him in Tbilisi again for ENC Georgia vs Russia. Though I don't think he would make big difference for final result, but anyway

Simplicevich and Ostrousko go to Seven Series in Honk Kong... For FRU rugby-7 most priority than Union:mad:

I am in out. They are engaged in a game with children in Hong Kong. It seems I underestimated our sports officials, before they killed Russian hockey in favor of ice hockey. And now it seems the same thing done to Rugby Union... And that's all for the sake of a hypothetical medal once in 4 years! Sick people.

SuperRugby? Yes, but not 100%. In first game of Krasny Yar in NZ against local club Sherley 31-5 (4 half on 20 min), not plays 7 Bears / squard: Tsnobiladze(try)-Bazenov-Prishepenko(try), Khvorostyanoy-Kiselev, Kondakov-Goldstein-Flemming, Dorofeev-Dodd(3 rl), Gvozdovskiy-Rudenko(2 tries)-Kolomiytsev-Keller-Berezhnoy.
From banch go to feld: Shukaylov, Lugin, Sysoev, Timoshyuk(try), + from reserve: Maslov, Khudyakov, Sitnikov, Cheremnykh, Ryazantsev and new players:

    "Krasny Yar" - North Canterbury - 21:10.
The second test match for the collection in New Zealand "Krasny Yar" was playing against the team of North Canterbury. The composition of "quantum": Tsnobiladze - Bazhenov - Prishchepenko, Kiselev - Khvorostyanoy, Kondakov - Sysoev - Fleming, Dorofeev - Dodd, Gvozdovskiy - Rudenko - Kolomiytsev - Cheremnykh - Horton. To replace out: Morland, Shukaylov, Tymoschuk, Ryazantsev, Lugin, Berezhnoy, Maslov, Sitnikov, Khudyakov. Played at 3 times for 20 minutes. Unfortunately, rugby players do not gain the proper slot of conditions, so it was a lot of mistakes and confusion. As part of the home team in the tenth position of numbers played a former player, "Yar" Beydon Phillips. Already in the 5th minute of Eugene Kolomiytsev made the interception, and Dodd make implementation - 7:0. In the 20th minute, replaced by Dorofeev go to field Morland and immediately made an try. Dodd beat for the implementation of 14:0. In the second twenty-minute made a beautiful pass Dodd. There was a discount on the Aleksandr Gvozdovskiy and Sasha landed the ball in the student's record-book of New Zealanders - 21:0. At the end of 40 minutes of the match, the error in the protection of "critical phenomena», North Canterbury attempt to answer by conducting an attack with his half of the field. 5.21 In the final quarter of the coaching staff of the white-green again gave young people a chance to prove themselves.Get a not very successful, although the efforts of the guys can not refuse. New Zealanders have reduced the backlog in the long run - 21:10. The match did not take part. Recovering from injuries Glen Gregory and Andrew Keller, the team of Russia Andrei Garbuzov, Maxim Sturza, Anton Ryabov, Andrei Otrokov and Nazir Hasanov, the Russian national team in rugby-7 - Igor Galinovsky, Rushan Yagudin.

I think it is disingenuous of you to call this Russian squad an "A" side just because 6 or 7 regular starters are missing. Northampton Saints play in Aviva Premiership while 8 of their best players are away with the national team, and they don't call themselves Northhampton "A". You should accept this defeat with dignity and look for ways to improve your team depth, not make excuses. Also, Adam Byrnes has been banned from playing in any IRB-sancioned rugby matches, not just Super Rugby, therefore he cannot play for the national team during this period.

Little Russia 35-32 Portugal
3500 at game in Odessa

In terms of fans attendance at home matches, perhaps it is the other Russia that should be called "Little"? :D

On a more serious note, I came to this forum for some good rugby discussions, not political disputes, so I will just say this once:
I was born in Ukraine, but I am not a "Ukrainian nationalist". I have family links to Russia and I spent a part of my childhood in Russia. So I am generally very pro-Russian and very supportive of the development of rugby in Russia, as well as Ukraine and other ex-USSR countries. But even the most pro-Russian Ukrainians don't like to hear the term "Little Russia". It sounds disrespectful and snobbish, similar to the way some snobbish people from Moscow call the rest of Russia "ZaMKADie". I read in your previous posts how you have a whole "scientific theory" about how this name is justified, but I am politely asking you to stop using this term on this forum if you want to have civilized conversation. Thank you, I am looking forward to discussing Russian rugby in the future.

to RuggerUA
Let's not
argue Holland\Netherlands, America\United States or Little Russia\Ukraine. Call it what you want. For me the name of Ukraine(окраина) is offensive, but I can not impose that view. A "Little" - is not demeaning, but the designation was originally Russian lands. Following the example of Little Greece.

While I not a mod per se I will take this moment to ask everybody to get along and let the rugby do the talking. I'm pleased that both RuggerUA and White Bear have kept things civil and pleasant :)

What is the situation about Russian Club rugby? I keep hearing from time to time that some in Russia want a competition similar to Russian soccer or Ice Hockey set up.
