Rugby '15 announced

I would expect them to be at about 85% or maybe more. The core gameplay will be well sorted out and they'll be spending much of the time polishing the edges off now. And do not be surprised if they're still attempting to negotiate some licenses!

Yeah think I actually read somewhere that they are still negotiating a lot of licences.

I read on a Joe.ie article that said they're close to securing a full 6N license.

That would be great. More licenses would eventually mean more and more, hopefully as years progressed. It be awesome to get a full license game in 2015 wow. Hopefully they get the SH licenses to to help us poor NZers so we don't always have NH.

I have to agree with Cymro here.

I'm a gamer, but not an informed one when it comes to Alpha or Beta or whatever they call it, testing. I also don't know why there photos being posted where you can't see anything on the screen itself, but rather just some french rugby player actually playing the game and some banners. These Screenshots posted in this thread just makes everyone speculate and draw conclusions without any concrete facts. I also don't know what the credibility is of the French websites that posts the information, and as for the one article that was posted on here which was a South African website, all I can say is that I've never heard of them, and I am frequently on the local gaming websites looking for info or updates.

I think some of the fanboys who posts things or draw negative conclusions about a game that hasn't even had a video preview, should keep their ****ty opinions to themselves as you are spoiling the game for us uninformed fans and the game-makers can't even respond or defend your baseless accusations.

I'll think we will all be owing Sidhe an apology after this game is released.

Gotta agree^^^^

I enjoyed RC2 :) looking forward to seeing what will come of R15

No online, no career, questionable although uncertain graphics and gameplay. How much would you pay for a game like this? And if it wasn't a rugby ***le? How much would you consider a fair price?
I believe a fair price would be in the 20 USD (12 pounds, 15 euros) and a max price in the 25-30 USD range (15-18 pounds, 19-22 euros). I might consider paying more under the pretext that they will patch an online mode, kinda like Konami did with PES in one of the latest iterations.

It's next gen, and niche.
It's gonna be £40-50, maybe dropping down to £30-40 after a few months.

RWC2011 was still £35 when it went off of shelves, and that was a time-sensitive kind of game (i.e. you wouldn't expect it to sell as much after the RWC).

I've seen Rugby Challenge 2 going for £49.99 a few places too, which is a bit ridiculous for an older game!
Cheapest I've seen it something like £26 plus postage, which is still pretty high.

Honestly, I'd be happy with Rugby 08 with updated squads. Sadly I don't think we'll be getting lots of the SH teams (licensed, of course), but I'm holding out hope! Might have to transfer all the NZ players in each competition into one team! :p

Just a thought, no online, not much point in buying for console when you can buy for PC and install a mod that "licenses" any missed license and maybe even more.
RWC and RC2 had a lot more to offer in terms of modes so it's difficult to compare their prices.

but there is online now for Rugby 15 its been announced, i think

Because it isn't a time/occasion sensitive game the price will remain high for a while, that's a fact I'm afraid. The excellent Rugby League Live 2 is still about £35 in most places.
