Rugby '15 announced

Since this game is not going to have all the licenses like SuperRugby teams etc. I hope they create a function like the 1 on Donald Bradman Cricket where people can upload their custom squad players and you can download these squads from a in-game menu.

This should be the defacto way that lack of licenses are dealt with in the future. Brilliant idea.

World Cups cap a team to a 30-man squad at any given time, hence why there were only 30 in each squad in the last game, irritating though it became.
Yeah I know that about the international tournements, just hope it's not the same for clubs, would also like to see midway through club season international teams take the players like in fifa so that they're unavailable

I found the following article on a french website relating to the price of the game then just used Google translate. Is there any way to tell if this is legitimate?

To believe two famous brands selling video game publisher BigBen Interactive will be responsible for adapting the Top 14 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Rugby 15.

This simulation is scheduled for Nov. 14 in version box on three Sony consoles at prices ranging from 39.99 euros (PSVita) price 59.99 euros (PS3) and 69.99 euros (PS4).

More details when the publisher decides.

Couldn't verify it but with it being a niche game I imagine that those prices will match up.

Man, this coming out on Vita is really not helping my hankering for one.
I can't think of when I'd ever really use it, I don't have a commute or anything, don't travel a massive amount, and have a PS4 at home......but I really bloody want one.

Your point is?
Rotate the sticks and the first one to find the sweet spot wins the ball. Do you need to play the game to understand the extremely arcade approach?
The reason I used the word "appears" is because there are no certainties other than the reviews. Maybe there is strategy and tactics to it, but it seems to be straight forward point and win.

My point is you are becoming overly boring with your negativity, seemingly knowing best. When you haven't played the game.

If I bore you, ignore me. The topic of this thread is this game and the purpose of a forum is to share opinions. Sorry if the prospects fail to enthusiasm me, I'll try to be more ecstatic when another poor review comes through.

Oh ok ... I am sharing mine. You are writing the game off based on one person's review off twitter. Be fair when you ACTUALLY play the game. People close minds on things are always negative. You are that.

I'm really excited about the release of EA Sports Rugby 08 demo with arcade settings! Will recommend it to all my friends!

Let him jmmontoro, he think that RWC 2011 is a good game.

He isn't credible.

- no online
- no carriere
- rucks with joysticks without choose the nomber of player or their strenth

It's bad, that's all.

On Facebook they say that they can change something, it's good but they must do it

If the game is still roughly between alpha and beta, then surely they've got a fair way to go before the final product? A lot can change after the Beta, let alone before that!
I get the negativity (always seems to be some before a new rugby game) but as Cymro has been trying to point out, there isn't much point writing the game off just yet as everything we say is pure speculation until we get our hands on the game in it's 100% finished state.

Ok, what about do you want to speak ?

That we know about the game or that do you want in your dream rugby game ?

Wait the game at 100%, I won't post in this forum !

Salut

There's a difference between giving honest factual opinions compared to just stating that the game/aspects of the game are straight up "bad" before you have actually played the game to back that opinion up. Nothing is set in stone yet, that's all I'm saying.

I would expect them to be at about 85% or maybe more. The core gameplay will be well sorted out and they'll be spending much of the time polishing the edges off now. And do not be surprised if they're still attempting to negotiate some licenses!
