We're not because we haven't been brilliant throughout a single game, from 0-80 minutes. Our best performance was against Ireland, we turned up for 15 minutes to beat Scotland, the England game could have gone either way, the Italy game was completely forgettable. Our other campaigns had memorable moments and gorgeous rugby that meant we could get excited and behind a winning team.Interestingly I don't get the same impression that Wales is going mad for this campaign like they were in 2005 and 2008. Getting bored of going for slams? Maybe the World Cup success spoiled us...
2005 was just brilliant - that brand of rugby was incredible and we were just too much for teams. We could win 69 more Grand Slams before I die, but that will always be my favourite.
Similarly in 2008 there were seminal moments - like the first win at Twickers in 20 years and the professional way we closed out the Ireland game.
There's nothing like that to really remember this campaign, we've just plodded along, doing the business when we've needed to to just stay that much ahead of the competition. Even the Ireland away win this time was something of a smash-and-grab. If we do France by 40 however, I might have to re-appraise the situation...
