RBS 6 Nations - Wales vs Italy- 10/03/2012, 14:30

But he's so likeable. Looks like the ref is actually gonna pin Wales for sealing

Could this be the end of one of Clancy's pre-conceived perceptions? ie Italy are crap and anything they seemingly do right was done illegally or involved a knock-on (even when the ball is not involved)

Bergamasco always seems to be extra fired up vs Wales

I remember a couple of years ago him and Philips were at each others throats all match

Edit: Zanni is bossing the breakdown.

Could someone tell me why Wales aren't taking the points?

Now Wales are getting cocky, not taking points may come back to bite them.

However, when the Italian gameplan consists of a good forward drive, only for their 10 to kick it up for their backs to have a 50/50 to catch at it at around the same line as where th forwards had the ball, well you can kind of understand the decisions to go for touch...

Em may interest you to know Warburton's not playing.

Tipuric may be a quality player, but Wales are missing Warburton badly - Italy's backrow are completely on top, both at the breakdown and in the big hits stakes.

Italian pack are playing really well...just don't give it to the backs

Aye, my mistake.

Got some very quick fingers there, my post couldn't have been up for more than 8 seconds before I edited it.

Can see why Wales are pushing for S. Shingler so hard, they'll need someone to replace Priestland with if he doesn't buck his ideas up pretty sharpish.
He's gone to pots since the England game - got no confidence whatsoever, Wellies is past it and Hook/Biggar are gash.

Clancy being consistent.

XD XD XD

There is hope for the world yet!

But the Italians may have just taken it away...

it'll be a different game in the second half I fear, but good while it lasts.

I agree with Clany's interpretation of the breakdown, I think players too often hold onto the ball and get away with it
