RaboDirect Pro12 Round 4

Hook is about to start in Paris against Stade...................have a look yourself.......................

Will do, thanks.

Tovey on the Blues bench today. He could be an option if he's allowed a run of games for the Blues. He's got a similar type of game to Priestland, better long passing game, but is probably weaker still in defense. But if he can find some form, he'd be better than an off-form Priestland and an inconsistent and blunt Biggar. Goal kicking is also his problem, but again that's not an issue with Wales.

sex10 with a nice try after 8 minutes. Cooney again looking sharp.

Yet again, Tom James showing why he isn't a current international, did well to get his hands free than his pass was poor to Warburton which killed the move.

Wtf, Blues scrum on top against Treviso!!!! How is this happening?

Ridiculous.

D'arcy off injured, disappointing that, especially with Ferg not in the 23. Macken on, will be interesting to see how himself and Drico line up.

EDIT: Fionn Carr has really gone to shite.

That is a lovely finish from Fish. Three lovely steps and good pace to round the covering defender.

Alongside Scott Andrews, I will forever wonder how James has been capped (more than once!).

Patchell playing well. He's willing to have a go in attack, and he's getting some returns from the Treviso defense. He's going to be a very good player for the Blues I think.

Copeland looking good at 8. First time I've seen him play I think, and he's quite quick for his size.

Edit. Not sure about that forward pass call. Could have just been momentum there, Fish' hands seemed to go back, or at least flat.

Further edit. Nicely done by Patchell there to give Roberts a one on one with Burton. Get Roberts one on one with a 10 that close to the try-line, and a try is likely.

Is Ferg injured? If he is it renders my favorite thing to shout at a Leinster match useless until he's back.

Don't think so, he was on last week. Probably just being brought back in slowly. D'arcy looked like he did something to his ribs. Painful, that. If he's out for a while we'll be missing the following in the backs:

Boss
Goodman
Kearney Jnr
Fitzgerald
O'Malley
D'arcy

That's the bones of a none to shabby back line!

I can see why he was capped when he can counter like that! Everyone expected his basic skillset and understanding to improve over time because he was late getting into rugby, but it's never happened unfortunately. Scott Andrews will never make sense :p.

Edit. Blues creating loads of chances, but are unfortunately blowing most of them.

James is just a lump with pace. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
How is Patchell getting on? WM going to get the 'next Welsh 10' bus fired up?

Edinburgh down to 13, must score a try or two here lads.

Playing very well. Couple of small mistakes, but he's generally bossing things with good kicking from hand and distribution. He's also a threat with ball in hand. I can see the WM going bonkers.

Patchell has just put in a superb covering tackle after an intercept by Treviso as well.

22-9 now, should be safe. Macken in again.

Sexton off for Madigan now. Should open the game up nicely.

Best hands I've seen from Munster so far this season for a try in the first two minutes. Keatley in after cracking work from Zebo.

Shite, is that on now? I'm going to get nothing done today by the sounds of it.

Btw, Keatley has been something of a revelation this year for Munster. I'd be tempter to hand him the 10 shirt on a permanent basis now.

Zebo does brilliantly in the set up to this try. Niall Ronan in. 14-0 to Munster after 14 minutes.

Yeah, Keatley's been fantastic in the opening matches. Great hands.
