Many thanks for your keen interest in the game, all the changes in the update are as listed. In answer to your second question, you are right , we haven't planned this yet..
Just to confirm the new update will not affect current careers or saved games.

One thing it must be changed is :
In 3D game when, after a scrum or a line-out, the 10 makes a crossing pass ( french translation....) to the 12, It's always a break and a try... It's a very common trick...

Isn't it easier to get someone else (like a mate) to use their card on your PC? Does your debit card have raised numbers on it? If so, should be fine wherever you are in the world.

I noticed that a lot of tries have been scored like this. I find my defence is pretty porous - probably my fault!

Hey guys, I have an other problem. When I'm playing a match, I can't choose anymore the tactics (A, B, C , D, E....), the buttons don't appear. I can just select a penality decision and sub, whereas the button on the left bottom corner is ticked correctly? Any tips?

If options are not visible at the bottom, collapse menu options above to reveal them.
At the top are your options and Advance button etc..
At the bottom is the tickertape where matchplay team calls etc.. are shown.
Bottom left is the Action area where you can make selections etc…

When in match.

Turn auto manager to off, or subs only, then change the Attack Style to Ad-lib.

New update live on Steam today includes:-

- Increased the number of ruck turnovers

- The user team when now returning a punt, will run the ball back

- Penalties can be awarded to dominant scrum

- Ruck penalties can be awarded for not releasing ball and not rolling away

- Basic Backs B move no longer automatically runs through any gap at the scrum

- At 80 mins, only kicks the ball dead if winning and also now if you're in your own half

- Match continues at 40 mins and 80 mins if selecting a scrum or tap from a penalty

Is there any plans to change the players names (like the players in super 15 with 1 letter difference so its easier to edit.) and have more accurate stats for all the players with fictional names. FANTASTIC UPDATE BY THE WAY. This game gets better and better with updates and i can see this being as popular as football manager.

I think it can be the rugby fans' equivalent to Football Manager series. Of course the rugby playing world is not as big, but there are a few big countries.


France and UK nations have 65 million people each and the game is big.

South Africa has 51 million people and the game is big.

Countries like Italy and Argentina also have big populations and rugby is growing there.

AUS has 23 million and union is quite big still despite other sports.

NZ have small pop but big following


There are a number of markets for a rugby game but we need USA, China or India to take up the game!!!!

Think Derek meant hide names of players from itm, Currie league etc rather than have invented players in those teams? Basically whether it is possible to do with those leagues what you did with Super Cup? Correct if I got wrong gist derek
