Pro 12 Semi Finals

I know the game is over, but there should have been a yellow there as well for slapping the ball down 5m from the line.

Rhodri Jones and Emyr Phillips have added a huge amount for the Scalets. Finally some go-forward ball from those two.

Rolland has been dire, but can't help feel that the Scarlets haven't helped themselves tonight.

Yeah Scarlets have been fairly unlucky - but to be fair Ulster should be a lot further ahead now. Even though the Scarlets turned it up at the end I don't feel the score reflects our dominance.

& yeah fair point Conal forgot about the players, but I don't know if it would make it worse?

Yup, that's how I feel.

Ulster fully deserving of the win by dominating the Scarlets physically all game.

Yeah reffing asside, Ulster dominated from the off and would have been further ahead if they didn't take the foot off the pedal once they pulled really far ahead.

Hmm. Not quite sure what happened at the end then, but spending 20 minutes getting done by the Scarlets pack ain't the ideal preparation for playing one of Leinster or Glasgow.

Dear Mr Anscombe

Tell Afoa he's had more than enough paternity leave
Bring the Stevenson Rocket back into the 23
Let Henderson be a back row for now

Kthnxbai

p.s. Win it for Nev.

Can't recall in recent memory a Welsh player I've disliked as much as Liam Williams.
Such a shitty little twat, almost want the oppo to smack him around. He has one of those faces, but the way he acts is so scummy. Wouldn't start for any other region. (Fussell, Dirksen, Walker; Halfpenny, Cuthbert, Robinson; Evans, Prydie, Harries)

Edit. Great try by Gareth Davies. Awesome finish.

Just to add something to the officials - the line out prior to this try was shocking. The hooker was standing outside the Scarlets line.

Straight throw all-right - it started outside the lineout and ended outside the lineout.

Thing was - the touch judge told him to move twice - he didn't - threw the ball in and the touch judge did... nothing. Completely aware of the problem but...

Add to that he has been largely overrated attacking wise and overhyped and the Turks with their "new JPR" talk (http://www.espnscrum.com/wales/rugby/story/155170.html) have managed to con the Welsh media and coaching team to believe it.

Seriously though, he would not get even a mention of reaching the sides of England or Ireland. It's just the Welsh coaches love of picking no new wingers aged under 21 that has allowed him to break into the team as first reserve winger/full back.

Granted he is solid defensively. But in attack he is underwhelming, and doesn't possess anything special in the speed, strength and jinking departments that make an international class winger. Yet the Scarlets would have you believe he is Lions tourist 2017 in waiting.

On Lions prospects how's we rate 2 wingers last night. Bowe was well Bowe and North was in a poor team but really looked sharp even in 1st half when things weren't going too great

Impossible to judge North. Looked OK when he had the ball, stepping a couple of players, but always ended up with 3-4 players on him. Was beaten much to easily by Bowe for his try though, but it was a good finish by Bowe.

Bowe looked class, like he hadn't been away. Some lovely lines and a great finish.

North strikes me as a player who doesn't give a **** when he plays for his region. It's a shame because he's brilliant at international level.

I love how Bowe has an ability to come back from injury and be class. That was an incredible step for they try and his carrying North into touch (with some help from Tuohy) was nice.

I think that's a little unfair. The Scarlets create no space out wide because their forwards don't create any go-forward ball and their under pressure at every ruck. When North does get the ball he's confronted with numerous defenders and has no chance to do anything. When he comes inside looking for the ball, there's no subtlety in the Scarlets play to conceal his use, it's just give it to George and he's promptly consumed by 3-4 tacklers.

Even though North moving to Northampton is viewed as a bad thing for Welsh rugby, it'll probably be a great thing for North to be playing in a more competitive side.

What's happened to the Leinster crowd? The stadiums half empty!
