Expecting the Scarlets to get a bit of a beating tonight. They simply aren't good enough at the breakdown.

John Afoa being out helps them a little, because I would have expected Phil John to have struggled in the scrum against him. I think they'll hold the scrum against Court and Fitzpatrick, but it'll be a big test for Samson up against Court who I rate as a scrummaging prop.

I don't think that all hope is lost for the Scarlets, but they will have to play a million times better than last weekend where they were slopping in attack and defence, and were blown away at the breakdown.

I think Ulster will be hurting form HC exit and this being their last chance at almost salvaging a season showing some promisses, should be interesting to see if Scarlets can rebound from last week as they'll be hurting to.

Ulster won't lose much with Fitzpatrick in the scrum I rate him fairly highly as a scrummager.

Reckon it will be close up until maybe the 60 minute mark and then I'd expect the flood gates to open. Scarlets potentially to lead after the first half as I think we'll be underestimating them.
For Leinster / Glasgow I can't really see by a 5-10 point win by Leinster.

Have a bad feeling about this - not quite "We're gonna lose", but we seem to be struggling with expectations a little at the moment. Deccie Fitz isn't as good a scrummager as Afoa and is light years away in the lose. We only have one real ball carrier up front, big games needed from Diack and Tuohy... I think we'll win it, I'll be ****** if we don't, but not sure this will be at all comfy.

Disagree. Fitzpatrick is a passable scrummager by Irish tighthead standards. Afoa is a beast. That's a massive blow for Ulster.

Clearly Afoa is much better around the park and a better scrummager but Fitzpatrick is pretty good certainly good enough to take apart a poor Scarlets scrum. I think he's more than passable but needs to stay fit to prove it.

I think Eddie Jones was wrong when he said we have centres that don't pass. What we have are centres who can't pass.

Owen Williams doing a fantastic Rhys Priestland impersonation, putting that kick off the post.

So I've got Ulster live in one window, the text updates on the Palace game... I ******* hate play-offs.

Now the Scarlets will have some passing ability in midfield with Gareth Owen on, although he'll be spending 10 mins at fullback whilst Liam Williams is in the bin.

How is that not a red? Seriously, going nuts like that isn't a yellow in my book. Also, where's the reversal for retaliation?

Wft? Aled Davies tripped and Rolland gives a penalty the opposite direction!

Yeah, could have been a red, but not many actually landed from Williams. Still though!

Wellp, won't be complaining about getting away with that!

Man that's a costly mistake from Rolland.

Edit. to be fair North might have been in the way for both Rolland and assistant. More unlucky then.
