Premiership Rugby 23/24 Semi finals

Do think maybe we should've started our bench props, they're the better scrummagers

That said I like that Pearce is making Bath play, that's how I want all scrums to be refereed: ball available? Get on with it

I agree in part but might as well just have mobile light props as there is no reward. Should have been 1 penalty so far to Bath.

They were moaning about it yesterday but I do like the new meta of targeting the 9's arm mid pass, seeing it a lot this season

It's the reason behind the old-fashioned dive-pass.
Downside is on the floor, not upporting play

depends . . . if it's a player who's part of the ruck then it should be fine as it's the attacking team's responsibility to create a stable ruck. However sometimes an offside player will get away with it.

It sounds like the new law trials will make it illegal. I know USA Rugby asked us to call it in sevens using some twisted law logic.

Ridiculous thing is that's all about the entertainment factor. If a SH is too slow and your onside, why can't you knock his arm? However, it will lead to more scrums and WRU want to avoid that.

I don't like charging into rucks like that, but I don't really see an alternative

Normally the players arnt on side though. The off side line doesn't seem to get enforced at professional level.

They not looking at Dunn cracking JL in the back of the head?
Would need a proper view of it, but it looked like he more headbutted Dunn in the stomach, which didn't seem to be what hurt him - that came later from a teammate.

With all that rolling around though, he needs to be off.
