Premiership Rugby 23/24 Semi finals

I agree were it a different penalty, its the point that scrums primary objective is to restart the game, I just don't think all pens are conceded equally so should hold the same length of advantage.
100%
Too many scrum penalties are for not being as good snyour opponent, rather than actually cheating, and those should not be penalties IMO.

I also can't really tell without lots of slow-mo replays which ones are which. But that's a problem for ref.s, not me

What a wet fart to end the game, hate choke tackles and the fact that the ensuing mauls just aren't refereed at all

Why did Sarries just watch that maul happen?
Why not go in and push and try and force Saints to collapse it?

Shocking rugby I understand they are tired but it's their end of season

I agree, but in fairness they held him up and didn't actually just collapse.

Let's hope tomorrow is as entertaining, with a more comfortable home win.

Fair play to Saints, they're the team to beat, and we've simply been too erratic this season and not had enough consistency.

Still don't quite understand how the game ended up being decided by two points when Sarries were pretty poor for large parts.

Saints v Bath final?

Can u imagine If Bath win, can see the headlines now it will single handedly be because of the Russell affect.

Thank christ that's over. I was a bag of nerves from start to finish. Good luck Faz unlucky Saracens. Twickenham here we come.

Tbh both of Sarries tries, while well taken, were a bit against the run of play and came very quickly. Saints were more dominant in possession, but not as clinical with it.

It's mental when Owen Farrell first played in the prem I was still in school, and now this will be most likely his last Premiership game.
14 years of Prem rugby and still only 32 years old.
I know Ford has played for just as long but I feel the amount of clubs he has played for ruins the image a bit.

End of a era

3 out of 3 v Sarries this year, was very confident going into tonight.
Overall we kept them in the game ladt 90 seconds squeaky bum time which should never have been as bar first 15 we were far tge better team.
Next week at home of rugby everything up for grabs we can beat either team or get beaten.
Side note thought Ridley was really good tonight let game go and hard to spot a decision that wasn't right.
