Premiership Rugby 23/24 Semi finals

Fantastic tackle. Think Mitchell's arc gives him the chance, he needed to run straighter.

Dummy line can't hit the defender that hard, surely?
Defender didn't go to make a tackle, just stood in the line, and the dummy runner goes full force into him and sends him flying

I know it won't be popular because of all the Sarries haters but come on, how much of an advantage from a scrum penalty do you need literally pretty much as close to scoring a try without doing so.

I agree, but... When it's basically guaranteed points, then you kinda need to actually score the points to call it an advantage over taking the 3. You see the same when it's in possession over the line, but held up.

And yes, it's a little annoying

TBH I'd say it's quite average. Sure I've seen more ridiculous advantages.

It's the way it's reffed, and id expect exactly the same if the teams were reversed.

I agree were it a different penalty, its the point that scrums primary objective is to restart the game, I just don't think all pens are conceded equally so should hold the same length of advantage.
