Premiership Rugby 21/22 - Rd 4

Robson and Mitchell with Quirke in as apprentice

won't happen, but what I'd choose
Not sure that I'm sold on Mitchell. He had a bit of a breakout but I haven't seen a huge amount since.

I also don't watch an enormous amount of Northampton though so I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Had a great start to the season, I thought, and started his career very well - second season slump was real, but it's happened to many others
Was mainly thinking of who has been in/around the EPS
I'd be happy with Robson/Quirke/JVP

Realistically I think it'll be Youngs and Randall with Quirke as apprentice but with Robson coming straight into the EPS/23 if there's an injury

So even on this forum, we cant pick a 9 lol....poor Eddie

At least every other position is just about sorted....

I think the good think that Robson offers is similar to Care in attacking rugby but offers a strong level of control. I actually think Robson and Smith would work perfectly. I also think that Quirke and JVanP from Leicester will be our longer term solutions.

Imagine if Bath had managed to sign Marcus Smith

I had another thought about the Quins performance. It was even more impressive that they stopped them scoring in the second half with Bristol not even getting the 4 try bonus point. At half time you would have thought they would definitely have got at least 1 one try, but Quins defence really improved, which was one of their weaker areas last year.

Yellow minimum for Maitland. Not sure how penalty only was ever an option. Not sure there is a significant drop in height either.

Well he got away with a red but I'm a biased Falcon. Not sure what Farrell was making his gob go for...

At least Harlequins have taught us not to give up after getting battered early on :(

We look absolutely terrible out there atm
