Premiership 24/25 - Round 10

Looks like all home wins this week. I'm going to Welford Road so just hoping for a decent game with a 10 at 10 and a 13 at 13. Hammersley is injured so either Will Rigg comes off the naughty bench or Slade plays his actual position. Come on!

Sarries vs Bristol will be a good taster to see if Bristol can overcome that hard press defence.

Really interested to see if Bristol fall apart with their current style when things get tighter or of the sale drubbing was a one off.

Prem site has us 3rd, think points difference comes before BPs
Yeah, all.rugby is fan-run - it should be wins > PD > PF > Aggregate.
TBH, I've not idea how All.rugby split their "equal on league points", but I have a feeling it's "reverse alphabetical" - they had Bristol ahead of Bath a couple of weeks ago, when Bath had more wins, but Bris had the better PD; but Sale are ahead of Sarries on all splits except aggregate.

What I like about their table though, is that they include other useful metrics, likes points and tries for and against.
They also do separate tables for home matches and away matches for those who like such things.

Pains me to say but quins need to be careful with that Friday night game.
I agree. On a weekend where the weather is going to be freezing, playing Newcastle away at night is the last fixture anyone would pick.

Diamond will be scenting blood and without being pessimistic, I feel like we're very capable of losing a game like this.

Hopefully the coaching staff have our players in the right frame of mind.

Actually seeing a full table like this shows Chiefs problems, 5 LBP showing we arnt being destroyed, yet 1TBP and 9 tries behind the next lowest.

Whilst or defence has been an issue now that Omar has gone it has seemed abit better and hope we can build it, but our attack is wheats holding us back, we really need to step that up because we look lost at times leading to only 1 TBP

Problem is, Hepher is our attack coach and head coach and it feels like that. Time for a change or at least new ideas beyond smash smash out the back.

I thought for a while he wasn't up for it, we really need a change, a strong attack coach to put a real system in place. But who is available I don't know

Disappointed at no Reed, but other than that happy - still don't like the 6:2 but guessing that's our A plan moving forwards
A rare Curtis appearance and it's a start!

Think that pretty much confirms Waisea is done (i.e. with Ford out they should've easily shifted RdP to 10 and brought Waisea into the centres or on the bench) - and I'm happy with that, he's been terrible and has backed up his on field slop by posting anti-vaxx conspiracy theories and Russian propaganda on social media. Just a shame that we're still paying his salary, and can't jetison him.

Blimey. 7-1 bench split.

Guessing it's injury related?
Targeting Saints pack in what is gonna be dismal weather (heavy snow predicted late afternoon) is the way to do it though

Every time I seem to look at the Bath squad, underhill is on the bench. Is that in my head or is his game time just being managed.

Guessing they're managing his time since his injury for England - he's not started a game since then (this is only his third since the injury)

I'd say that we're managing his time - he's had a fair few injuries, and a lot of concussions. May be one of those players who needs to be protected from himself.

Having Pepper around helps
